I refresh the hydraulics on the Long 1199 backhoe and get it setup on the 60hp Deutz 6207. This will help in a few weeks for doing some digging around the house
Hello, Thanks this was very interesting. W ould you recommend using a PTO driven pump for this backhoe? I have a white 1370 and am looking at a long backhoe like yours....what is your feeling?
This backhoe originally sold with a pto pump and the tank was built into the frame. The previous owner converted it to remote lines but gave me the pump as well. My tractor runs around 11 GPM (gallons per minute) and I would say that is on the light side but still runs it fine. The PTO pump I believe was around 18 GPM. You can actually see that pump being used in my log splitter video. It’s connected to my dads Nuffield Universal 4. Let me know if you want more info. Thanks for watching!
question on Tractor Hydraulic lever, which way you leave it. in up or down position ? to make Backhoe work. I just bought same Backhoe. rebuilding some cylinders now.
The rear remote on the tractor can be up or down depending on how I hook up the hoses. Most rear remotes flow one way/no flow/flow the other way. I just mark the hoses how I want them then I know to always move the lever forward for proper flow direction. Does that answer the question?
Hello, I am going through my spool valve because it is leaking, was wondering if you could tell me the part number for the seals and where you got them. I can't find any info on the valve assembly. Thanks
I believe these are the ones I used. www.mcmaster.com/90025K331/ I don't think I found a perfect match but these were the closest. I have one valve that seeps oil still but the new seals really helped.

@@clowcountry5743 Thank you, I think somebody rebuit my valve body and put standard o-ring in, was your original seal an "x" shape or a u-cup seal?
