Thank you for this video! I appreciate you. I purchased mine about a month ago and have it installed it yet. There were too many directions, but your video made it clear and simple. I’ll be installing it today!
@@luger45 Yes I probably should have included that part. Search my channel as I have installed multiple dash cams. Some of the videos will show the hiding of the power cable
I wish I could TIP him❣️ Unbelievable ❣️ I've had this camera for a month sitting on my kitchen table trying to figure out who was going to install it for me. I'm a kinesthetic learner and I had my camera installed in 20 minutes. ❤❤❤❤❤
Yes it possibly could. You could also run the wires under the carpet and kick panels. I would assume the wire would probably be long enough as when wiring through the headliner I do have excess wire. I don't know how ling exactly.
How did you add the suction to the camera because when I got it in the mail the bottom was vertical and not horizontal like yours. I feel very stupid and defeated. Got into a hit and run and so I rushed to buy this camera
hey great video thanks for writing me back 2 more question how does it start recording? also I noticed one of my Outlets is live all the time the other one is only live when it's running which one to use ?
Why every time I shut off my vehicle I can’t see it on my phone nomore I don’t like that it has the be close to the camera to be able to watch it on your phone
Good video. I appreciate that after installing, you provided examples of both view points in day and night. Thank you
Thank you sir, your video helped a lot.
Glad this video was helpful
I just ordered this! Thank you for such an informative video! Great work!
Glad this video helped

Thank you. You got this
So where is the cable that powers it dangling? you said you went up, but where it is coming back down?
It hides under the headliner to the A pillar then underneath the steering column to the cigarette plug
I feel like the hiding of the power cable is the most important part of the install video.
@@luger45 Yes I probably should have included that part. Search my channel as I have installed multiple dash cams. Some of the videos will show the hiding of the power cable
This is sweeetttttt. Just got my R3 today. Gonna buy this one for a friend.
Do you know how I can watch the video on my phone anywhere ?
@@PublicStormz which video?? For the R3 camera?
@@shaawnallen6299 I want to watch my videos via remote from my house but I have to be connected to the rove WiFi
@@PublicStormz You need a dash cam with 4G capabilities

Very helpful and to the point, thank you!
Glad this video as helpful
Great review! It appears that you live in Seattle. 😂
Yup. Seattle
excellent video! i’m a visual person so this helps a lot. thank you!
This would be perfect for rental cars.
Yes. Easy install and removal
I'm gonna try your method for the rear camera, when you open the tailgate does it pull a lot of wire? How will it work?
No it does not pull a lot of wire. I just give a little slack
Great video, thanks for making it......
Your welcome. Glad this is helpful
Do you think the way you routed those cables it would interfere with the side airbags?
Yes it possibly could. You could also run the wires under the carpet and kick panels. I would assume the wire would probably be long enough as when wiring through the headliner I do have excess wire. I don't know how ling exactly.
It does record without wifi?
Never affix the camera on the dimples near the rear view mirror. 😮
Why not? Aren't they made for contact points, UV protection and temp distribution?
I just did mine but the back camera is not turning on it’s just the front camera
I'm not sure. Double check the connections. Unplug and plug the rear cam again
Cant you also use the suction cup bracket without applying the clear film to the windshield ?
Yes you can
How did you add the suction to the camera because when I got it in the mail the bottom was vertical and not horizontal like yours. I feel very stupid and defeated. Got into a hit and run and so I rushed to buy this camera
Sorry to hear about your hit and run. Loosen the screw on the side so that you can adjust the angle
My "video mode" isn't showing the ability to switch between front and rear camera. Any thoughts?
I just opened mine and it did not include an SC card.
It depends on the bundle you purchase
I wired mine directly to the battery for 24hours recording and kept draining my battery. Do you know why is draining my battery?
@@ryanfil1927 you need this. A hardwire kit. amzn.to/3RZ7sJW

What if I don't have my phone on me when I'm driving is that going to matter?
NO. You only need your phone if you want to use the app to download footage. Oher than that dash cam can work on its own.
hey great video thanks for writing me back 2 more question how does it start recording? also I noticed one of my Outlets is live all the time the other one is only live when it's running which one to use ?
@@johnhaughie572 It automatically starts recording when you start your vehicle. Connect to the one that is only live when the vehicle is running.
Hi.
When i review the video from Rove R2-4K dual dash cam on my pc it's run too fast. What is happen? Can you help me how to do? Thank you.
I'm not sure. Is there a speed control on the pc program?
How do you put on the parking mode ?
Like when you park and power off your car why doesn’t the camera turn on ?
You need to have the hardwire kit installed if you want to use parking mode. ua-cam.com/video/E7VnWFlrHx4/v-deo.html

Just download any videos you want to watch to your phone, then you can watch them anytime anywhere.
It's connected via wifi. If you shut off the vehicle camera shuts down as well.
@@AutoSensation get the red tiger app and you can download videos to your phone while in the car.
my camera cannot pair to the phone.i wonder what i am doing wrong
Check to make sure wifi is on on the camera. Make sure you are connecting to the same wifi network and on the same band. 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz.
I thought if the vehicle shuts off it looses power and you lose all the videos?
it does lose power unless you have a hardwire kit installed. You won't lose video footage as they are stored in a sd card.
Why you guys don't show the actual Install not just the programming 🙄
I did the best I can to show install
He does show his install. He made a great well rounded video of the whole thing. What more do you want?
