This film is a masterpiece and everyone in the country should see it, especially those who support the wall! Eye opening magnificent nature and wildlife and other issues handled so well. Stunning wildlife and nature cinematography too! Screening it in my class and film series thanks to the filmmakers.

It was explained at the film festival that the wall would not be built through Big Bend. Only in high traffic areas, yet the majority of the trailer shows nothing but Big Bend ??

This teaser is making it look like the wall is being built on wildlife and in reality it’s going to nowhere near animals or their habitats. It’s a pathetic film honestly

Looking forward to your film. This wall will have a devastating impact on the environment. I doubt that was even taken into consideration.

It is beautiful….but how many illegal aliens will it take coming into our country before we figure out some way to secure that portion of the border? Opponents of the wall will find out in a couple of years when our nation has been reduced to a dilapidated, wrecked, littered third world country. It’s already begun in many areas. Have you tried to get a doctors appointment in the past few years?

these people suggested a joint national park between the US and mexico similar to the one between the US and canada. big difference: mexico's govt is in chaos and easily bribed. so if you open the area up as a national park the drug cartel WILL SEND DRUGS through this area no doubt. this film is so idealistic. the environment needs to be protected but laws need to be followed too. you can't have people crossing illegally! they propose so much but most are subordinate to higher priorities such as national security. the solution to illegal immigration is the home countries themselves FIX their GOVT and SOCIETY so people stay. there are billions of poor people, billions of people experiencing domestic violence, etc. just bec their countries are connected to the US via land they think they can just walk over? FOLLOW THE LAW! what about the people who are in line waiting for their papers? they need justice too bec they followed the law!

Her point about far off issues which don't affect you applies to illegal immigration except it affects millions, not just a single individual.

Loved Unbranded Ben. I'll have to watch this, when it comes out, to form a total opinion. In truth, our Country is being ruined with drugs. That said, if said Americans, weren't doing drugs, then this may have a different out come, on the amount of drugs coming across the Border. I understand, the Conservation side of this, but i also, understand the need to stop, illegal Drug traffic coming across the Border. In this part of the country, it is Brutal to cross. And for those that try, a lot of them, don't make it. So there is the Human side to this also. If deterant, stops, illegals from crossing and dying, then its an issue of Humans or Wildlife. Do you want to make that call? I can see your point, to a point. But, there are Hard decisions to be made, both ways. The U.S. has a drug problem, and Mexico has, well they just have problems of all kinds. I'll watch this, and see what the message is, and form my final opinion afterwards. Personally, i don't think A WALL will ever be built. With Technology of today, there are many other options, to counter illegal crossings of any kind. They neve will be stopped. But if they can be slowed, that is a Win, for everyone American. Best To You!!!

Drug War narrative is used to make people with brown skin "other" and paint an entire nation (Mexico) as criminals. The people of Mexico have suffered terribly from gangs and cartels and America's failed Drug War, but little mention is made of that in US media. To think that building an environmentally devastating and astronomically priced wall through the wilderness will stop the flow of drugs is a simpleton's answer to a complex problem. Drugs mostly come through legal crossings disguised as legitimate goods in trucks and hidden in vehicles. But they also come across the Canadian/US border, through the postal and other mail services. Then there are tunnels, (225 tunnels were discovered on U.S. borders from 1990 to March 2016, according to the DEA) drone, catapults, airplanes, boats. Cartels are innovative, imaginative & well-funding & will find ways to subvert any physical barriers we build. The answers lie in policy, lowering demand through treatment & education and finally through decriminalization. Also there is the matter of Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid responsible for more and more deaths due to overdose each year, which is China's contribution to the opioid crisis.... and a wall will do zero towards solving that drug's entry into the USA. A Commission ordered by trump to study this problem does not endorse building a wall and the fact that POTUS keeps pounding on this is nothing more than politics and the crisis we now face will not be solved with tweets and sound bites. Anyone who believes otherwise is naïve and uninformed.

Marilee, I more than not, agree with you. I'm sorry to see Ben get political, with his films. And this one is, political. As I mentioned above, if STUPID Americans, weren't doing drugs, there would be a drug problem. And none of this would have to be discussed. If the Mexican government, was so corrupt, and cracked down, HEAVY on the drug trade, maybe it would slow, to a crawl. You are right, and you are wrong, on how the drugs and ppl are getting across. Just read reports by AZ ranchers, on how their property is affected, with crossings. Not all are coming across at crossings. They have made there own crossing. That's a Fact!!! And Marillee, don't play the Race card with me. There all kinds of folks, crossing illegally. South Americans, Middle Eastern, Europeans, and the list goes on. If you don't have control of who comes into your country, you have Lost your country. Look at Germany, France, Italy, and this list goes on. It is out of control over there, and getting worse. There has to be Order, or the World turns to Chaos. I wish we didn't have to worry about all this, but it's Real, and Here. I guess your idea, Bens idea, and mine, are, How do we deal with this, in the Best Way. I personally, don't think, a Wall will ever be built across, where Ben is talking about. And I hope Not. I think there are other, more modern ways to deal with this.

There are a lot of really complex issues about the border for sure. We hope to bring light to as many of them as we can through this film. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Marilee Odendahl - I live in south Texas and I love brown skinned people, as you call them. I have many friends from south of the border but I don't see their skin color. We have to stop the flow of those who come here illegally that are being coddled by the left and used as political pawns by the left who want to give them the same rights as citizens so they can vote illegally in our national elections. That's wrong and it's dangerous for our country.
I've spent a lot of time in Big Bend and I love what it is but something has to be done.
