I can't stop laughing, this is absurdly easy and fast and you go so straight to the point that this looks like a parody (in the best of the ways possible, this is a compliment) thank you o much for this!! I'm definetly checking out your channel from now on.
u are one of the best youtubers out there just becuz how fast u did this tutorial. im glad that u are here. u did everyone happy with this little action
I've seen other tutorials that showed an inferior method with 2 mats and a solidify modifier and it took them 5 mins to explain . You presented a superior method in 25 seconds
the line art is applied from the cameras point of view(dont ask me why).but there are some sliders you can play around with. But sadly i never went extreamly deep into this topic as i have never used it exept in this tutorial :(
@@1minuteblender I think it is applied from the point of view of the cameras because I do not think it can be done otherwise; if it was applied from different points of view, at the moment of rendering, black lines would appear where they should not be... Anyway thanks all the same, I will try to ask someone else who knows more about this technique... But your video helped me today to get the line art style quickly! Thank you!
that's exactly the effect i was hoping but the lineart still shows when it's behind an other object ^^' now it feels like my object is transparent ^^' Is there a was to fix this ?
For some reason during the preview this looks great, but when it renders the lines render really thick, even when I set thickness to 1. Edit: fixed by rendering in cycles Edit 2: nm broke again
Is there a way to delete some of the line art or add something thats missing? 99% of it looks awesome, but there are some extra lines i dont want. Great video btw.
I had the same problem! What fixed it for me was adding a camera to the scene and making sure that the objects I wanted to have line art were in view. It should work in 2.91.
Wanted to try this out with Blender 3.5 and there is no line art modifier. However, in this video, there are barely any modifiers visible in the stack. What version was that? I am using solidify modifier for ages now, and since that modifier has been existing for many years but not being visible in the modifier stack in this video, I am really confused, what version that is and if line art modifier is supposed to be available in 3.5......... Because solidify modifier works good so far, but there got to be a more efficient way to generate nice outlines in 3D to program. And don't anybody mention Freestyle. I don't know the purpose of this function, those outlines are beyond garbage. They got no dynamics and they wildly clip through everything. Also take a lot longer to compute than just going with the additional geometry of the solidify modifier.
THIS is a tutotial about how to make tutorials
not sure I understand what you mean but thanks i guess ?
@@1minuteblender they mean that other tutorials should be like yours, really fast and easy to understand
This channel's format is spectacularly efficient. Thank you for not spending 30 minutes on explaining a concept that can be explained in 25 seconds.
that is the purpose of the channel
If anyone's struggling, you can see the outlines only if you're looking at your objects through your camera
omg, thanks!
thx man
it doesn't show when i render image
thank you,
thank you bro
Tahnk you
I am genuinely surprised at how simple and quick this was. I know so many other UA-camrs who would take 8 minutes to explain this.
it used to be harder in older versions

this tutorial is genuinely so good i wish other people would take notes when making tutorials THANK YOU!
This is probably the most efficient 25 seconds I have ever encountered. Well done and thank you!
quick, simple and direct tutorial.
20/10!
ive never been so happy to find a straight forward tutorial
A M A Z I N G! Fast and to the point, great tutorial!
that is the reason for this channel
brilliant!!
you rock!
You are probably the most useful blender channel out there, what takes other people 10 minutes you can cover in 25 seconds with time to spare
noted.
Next time i will talk 35 second about the weather
u are one of the best youtubers out there
just becuz how fast u did this tutorial. im glad that u are here. u did everyone happy with this little action
Thx :)
Simple and quick, thank you!
thats how it should be
short concise and to the point i wish more tutorials were like this
You saved my life man, it's the right thing to do
Great! This is definitely an improvement to trying to add a solidify modifier to the model, far less trouble to apply!
Thanks so much for this; I was able to combine this with Point Cloud's Pixel Art tutorial for a really fun look.
i never realized it was that easy
Thank you so much for sharing this
wow, the best tutorial of line art on the blender, thank you
This channel is gold (I can't watch videos without subway surfers clip on the right)
I've seen other tutorials that showed an inferior method with 2 mats and a solidify modifier and it took them 5 mins to explain . You presented a superior method in 25 seconds
that is the whole reason behind the channel that I exlain/show it quick with no fuss. On the downsite I earn 30 cents per 1k views :§
Simple and clear! Thank you!!
thank you so much, i just wanted to make a simple outline and all other tutorials just were too long
Awesome 👍
Insane thank you
Thanks for being so efficient
Amazing tip!
god damn this is cool!! Quick, simple, easy tutorial. Thanks!!
You are the only one who taught people how to create an outline in this way
this is amazing
11/10 tutorial!
I loved the tutorial! I was wondering if its possible to change the color of the line art, beyond the pre existing ones. Thank you so much!!
the ones you see in the drop down menu are preset the color is acutally just a material.
So you can just create whatever color you want.
That was fast! nice
Thanks!
Nice!
Thanks!!
Yo bro its less than HALF a minute, good job!
Straight to the god damn point.
And it WORKS.
Very good and very helpful
Thank u so much!
Thanks a lot pal!
no problem
Super easy method! Like! Very like! Super like!
Thx u re the best
Finally a good tutorial
THANK YOU IM ACCENDING RN IM TYPING THIS IN AIR THANK U SO MUCH I NEEDED THIS NOW GOODBY
bye bye
This is what I've been looking for, for like a year now! Thank you so much!
Increible.
not even a minute! thank you :)
UA-cam's money making algorithm has made everybody stretch everything like a chewing gum for at least 10 minutes. Thank you for NOT doing that. 🤝
no need to I dont earn money on yt I dont hit the requirements
Thank you!!!! Short tutorials are the best!
Damn that was easy
The title is clickbait!
It's waay more efficient and shorter than 1 minute!!
Really good vid :D
Noted.
Next time I will ad a random clip of my bird to fill the time.
hello there, great tutorial, wondering how to get those lines in the final render...
Fast would be an understatement you broke the sound barier with this
I spended more time searching for the technical term of those artlines than learning how add it... lol.
Thanks for this tutorial, very helpfull.
why everybody don't make it so quick! i love this chanel already!
that is the reason this channel exist cause i hade 40m tutorials
Is there a way to color the linework other colors than the ones given?
Genuinely the best tutorial out here
love
Does this works also in animations and a moving camera?
whaaaaaat bes tutorial ever
that was fast
YYEEEEEEEEAhhhhhhhhhhh thanks
The best! I have a question... How can I exclude some edges from having line art?
the line art is applied from the cameras point of view(dont ask me why).but there are some sliders you can play around with. But sadly i never went extreamly deep into this topic as i have never used it exept in this tutorial :(

Thinks pro
Question, how do I exclude objects from it? Since I have some things that should be invisible in render, yet the lines make them visible
Can you export an image with the outlines?
any idea why the lineart won't appear in my final render?
???? i did the same in the video but dint works
que buen tutorial che
Vey fast 10/10 I understand
that's exactly the effect i was hoping but the lineart still shows when it's behind an other object ^^' now it feels like my object is transparent ^^' Is there a was to fix this ?
But how do u use this in animation cause whem u change the camera the line art gets messed up
i accidentally sended this to my meme group instead of my tutorial s group and now everyone in my meme group is laughing for no reason
So you are the one person who send it per mail to people ?
how to i add an outline on a metaball?
For some reason during the preview this looks great, but when it renders the lines render really thick, even when I set thickness to 1.
Edit: fixed by rendering in cycles
Edit 2: nm broke again
I do t have linear option
yay
What if I just want a model with lines?
Is there a way to delete some of the line art or add something thats missing? 99% of it looks awesome, but there are some extra lines i dont want. Great video btw.
The lineart i think is applied from the view of the camera to edges.
But there are settings you can change like the thickness etc.
IMPORTANT:
It only works through the render camera.
how do i get it to appear in renders?
under the generate theres no line art modifier. help!
I do not have "Line Art" in the "Add Modifier" popup - do I have to enable it somewhere in the settings?
It worked for me after downloading the updated version. For some reasons my Blender wouldn't update ~
Probably you are just with the object in selection, and not the line art you've just add
do it work in cycles?
How to make the outline visible even if the camera isnt facing at it?
As of my knowlede you cant but when you render something you will see it anyway so
yo you are the fking GOAT.
It works in blender 2.91? I cant see the add lineart when I add the stroke
I had the same problem! What fixed it for me was adding a camera to the scene and making sure that the objects I wanted to have line art were in view. It should work in 2.91.
You are god
bow to me :P
@@1minuteblender yes sir!
How is this not a short
Cause i recorded it to be displayed on full.
On shorts aspect ratio you would not see anything
did not work for me
thank goodness I can SLOW down the video so that I can actually hear what the F is being said
For me it doesn't appear in the render I am sad now because of you
My blender doesnt have line art addon why?
This is neat, but not what I was searching for, I'm looking for an alternative to the inverted hull method. I wonder if there's an addon
your voice sounds like you're about to troll me

I'm trying this with Blender 3.6 and I can't find it either
The lines wont appear on my render. Can somebody help?
