Earth, Wind & Fire - Can't Let Go - Live Brazil 1980 - 40th Anniversary Audio Remaster

- October 1980,
following the release of their "Faces" album,
Earth, Wind & Fire embarked on a South American tour.
One of the highlights was a show at
the Maracanzinho Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,
which was recorded for a TV special.
Sadly the video was never edited and eventually lost.
In the mid 90's
a poor quality VHS tape of the show is found
and shared between fans.
2019, a different version is recovered
with better audio and a clearer video,
surprisingly some instruments are cut out.
One year later,
during the Covid pandemic,
we started a restoration project for fun.
Our plan was to combine the audio
from the two video sources
and produce a higher quality master.
We enhanced the bass, drums and vocals
and generally improved the stereo experience.
We feel good about sharing the final cut
in conjunction with the show 40th anniversary.
Enjoy the original nine with the Phenix Horns
playing September, Boogie Wonderland,
and much more ...
To support us please do not duplicate this video.
We don't own the source copyrights,
but own copyrights of the audio remaster.

Esse ano eu tinha 5 anos de idade amo essas musicas acho que desde de quando eu nasci
It does sound and look a lot better than the original video I seen. Thank you for preserving it. If you could remove the beginning part and get straight to the vid that’d be better.
Foram muito influentes... Essa patota funk soul bebeu muito da fonte do Mestre Maurice White.

Amo está música Maurice White o génio eterno
2:50 Philip Bailey’s conga groove was so funky
Would be better if you remove the writing from off the screen. Could have put it in the comments or just took it down
Agreed.
While the whole Band is fabulous the 1 that set's the tone is Mr Verdine White the rhythm King, his energy is infectious, his bass playing is superb and thanks to Double G he has raised the Titanic with this restoration, I salute you Double G.☯️✊👊🙏
All the White family set the tone by working together. You have Maurice organizing everything from the artwork and getting in touch with people concerning gigs and dates, not just that but by leading the band on a lot of the songs that Philip Bailey doesn’t do. Maurice even leads with the Kalimba the African instrument. Then you have Verdine on the bass which does exactly as you said. He’s still alive too. Then you have the drummer White. I can’t remember his first name. He actually has the rhythm down and Verdine plays along with it in his own unique way with the bass.
