Tremendous study ,thank you Pastor G. Chapter 2:10 is very interesting!! Thanks again for what you do and how well you do it.
Wonderful no matter how bad it gets at time we can always remember the story and praise God with all our hearts even when we’re in the very hardest times . What a savior we have who can wash away all the anger over fear over mud that we are stuck in.
🙏💖🙏💖🙏
I do not like to share allegorical ideas when it comes to the Holy Bible because I know how dangerous it is (and the following is an allegory based on truth gained from an allegory Paul used) so I hope I’m not offending anyone but this is a way that I love the Lord God with my mind and imagination so I was moved to share and I hope that this blesses someone:
Hannah gives her son to the Lord.
We have learned from Galatians 4 that we are children of the New Covenant; Grace is our mother, for we are born of the free woman Sarah representing the God’s second and better covenant: the Covenant of the blood of Jesus Christ, that is Grace. And because Hannah means Grace as well we can look to 1 Samuel chapters 1-2:2 and see that Hannah/Grace gives her child (the child that the LORD gave her) back to the LORD to serve at the Temple in Shiloh after he has been weaned. So I would like to submit to you (the believer in Jesus Christ) that you were elected and chosen for eternal life by God Almighty, He gave us to His Grace so that we can be given back to Him. Through His unmerited favor and loving kindness that has made us born again to be the righteousness of God, the believer has been empowered to serve our Great High Priest Christ Jesus, as Samuel helped minister to the High Priest of that day.
Another parallel is drawn with the time Samuel was given back to the Lord, it was after he had been weaned. Likewise, after Issac had been weaned Sarah put out the bond woman Hagar and Ishmael for he was not to share the inheritance with the promised son given to Abraham and Sarah. So when is it as Christians do we become weaned ready for solid food no longer in need of milk; it is when we become skilled in the word of righteousness to understand that righteousness is a gift from God. It is our Lord and Savior’s righteousness that has made us righteous putting us in right standing with our Father in Heaven, making our spirit righteous so that the Holy Spirit can live on the inside of us, because the Holy Spirit is not going to reside in anything that is unrighteous. It is because we have received the free gift of righteousness that we can declare that we are the righteousness of God in the Risen Christ Jesus! Since we can see how we have been blessed with wisdom to understand who we are (the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus), then we can recognize that we are maturing as Christians..being fully weaned (like Samuel the promised son to Hannah) to be given directly back to the Lord God. And the One Who gave us life by way of Grace, that is the Lord Christ Jesus Himself will gift to the Father the Kingdom of God at the end. 1 Corinthians 15:24
My apologies if that was hard to follow but short summary:
We were made by Him, for Him, through Him, and then reconciled back unto Him by Him
🙂
What Bible Translation is Pastor using?
Elvis Presley's Twin brother Jessie Presley is not buried at Graceland with the Presley family the reason being they cannot find the body or grave of Jessie Presley Now Read (ST, Luke 21:11) WOE,,
Why would she make that vow in the first place
The greatest vow you could give the Lord, was to give your child to the Lord. But, it extracted a lot of heartache, because the Lord expects you to keep your word.
