I go to a Christian school, and as of now, we are working on this song in Band class. I play the violin as well. I'm having difficulties, since my playing skills are those of a 7th grader's, while I am in 9th grade. However, watching you play inspires me beyond explanation. Short story. So, I've loved the violin as long as I can remember. Finally got to start lessons in college. Was at the mall with my mammaw (grandma for you non-southern folks), and saw an new painting of a lighthouse that had a really old version of Amazing Grace score underneath. I memorized it, went home and played it. Played the song for my mammaw and she went and bought me that painting. I still have it and that song is what I used to warm up with. Also, played without the drone notes, it just isn't the same. This version is just something else! Thanks for sharing it with us!

I've been scouring UA-cam looking for a version of Amazing Grace and this is it! I just started to learn the violin and I've wanted to learn this song for a while, and this is exactly how I want to sound. This is a great rendition and you are a great musician, hats off to you!
