China also has an open secret of being superpower - they have a unitary structure & highly centralised politics but decentralised economy.
Whatever their central government wants will be actually implemented at the ground level unlike India due to their hierarchical pyramidal governance structure. Central Government is supreme unlike India & when set only core plannings but give its duty to local officials for implementation with local specialisations who are bound to do their duties as being single party they are rise to the top in hierarchy working better unlike India where u promote loyal idiots but China promotes useful idiots.
The governing bodies at province, district, village/town are accountable to their higher level which makes planned things go efficiently from top to bottom unlike India where due to multi-party contradictory federalism we have clashes b/w government levels especially when parties are different and no accountability/oversight resulting in worst performance of our cities & villages which we can see clearly.

China has a unitary structure. Their Central Government passes a resolution - core goals & strategic planning but then duty is given to local government bodies & officials for their implementation and the lower bodies of China are accountable to their constant higher bodies. So their work is oversighted centrally unlike India. And being one-party the local to district to regional all governments are subordinates of supreme Chinese Central Government so naturally they gets an incentive in the lower level to work hard to get promoted to the higher level unlike India.
Like India they don't have clashes between various government levels. And being pyramidal hierarchical structure the lower ground level is in order with the higher central level organisational goal unlike India.
So first reform the way India works instead of changing party Colors or outside criticism then only things would work or else the gap will increase.

Chinese Political System is framed in top to down way which makes such rapid development & their cities as such. Economist Prof. Kapoor made an analysis of the working of local government between India & China- that is what led to such huge difference. Chinese Local Governments get 50% budget but India only 17%. But even that value is huge and not utilised by India. There's a lack of incentives unlike China which he analysed. To summarise, being from a single party u can rise to higher level body in China by much better u work in lower level i.e the promotion within CCP who controls everything. And another one, the lower level bodies are accountable & centrally oversighted by their constant higher levels are they are placed within a pyramidal hierarchical order. And that's the very reason why policies & projects passed in the national level are implemented in the ground level as they constantly come through an organised hierarchy unlike India which tries to micromanage, then overlapping & contradictory governance levels.
To become China, India needs revolutionary hard reforms like China which 80% Indians(who oppose anything uselessly) would never like.
Because, china have no democracy 🙄.
Thats the real power of dictatorship.
People always comparing India and China ,but they never talk about challenges in India to become a country like China
As long we compare ourselves with other country we will stay fall behind with those nation,instead people should solve internal challenges in India first,instead of comparing ourselves with other country
