I don’t disagree, but they make “kettles” that just dispense hot water. They’re stationary, sure, but you really wouldn’t be carrying that thing around. You’d more likely use a travel mug or thermos.
Have you seen those kettles that tilt? They sit on a stand and to pour you place the cup on the bench and just tilt it to pour into the cup. Both of my grandmothers had one, and when one of them went into aged care I was given hers as I had bursitis in my shoulder and oh what a difference it made!!
@WillTaft I have one of these but a major issue I have is filling it; I have to do it a cupful at a time because I can't lift it full. The long straw suction idea looks great and it would also be great for days when I can't get downstairs to the proper kettle but have my water bottle!
Ebbers, as a Kiwi, obsessed with tea, who is forced to travel to the US a lot, the fact that I’m constantly told in hotels “oh just zap a cup of water in the microwave for your tea” makes me want to scream. That water heater is genius and I need one in my life. I can’t gerryrig up another bloody Kureig machine just to try and get hot water for tea. It’s too much, too much I say ☠️
@@Seamalicousbecause the microwave super heats the water, not boils it, which then doesn’t allow for the dried tea herbs to properly open and seep. Creates a rather tinny tea taste that is horrid. Especially if you are a super taster.
@@nzchrisgirl It can... but usually it doesn't. It can be dangerous as it will instantly boil as soon as it touches a nucleation point (like tea). Maybe it was just the water, or something else in the way it was prepared. I don't see how it could be the microwave.
@@nzchrisgirl Just put a toothpick or something in the water and it'll stop superheating. Takes like a 10 second google search to find a fix for your issue. If you still want the portable thing, by all means just buy it, but a microwave will also work.
Some airplanes have power outlets between the seats. Imagine a stewardess asking if you'd like a cup of tea and you just go "no thanks, I have my own" and pull that out 😂
I recently read an article about drinking tea and coffee on planes. Apparently the water tanks are neither cleaned nor treated. They are as unsafe as the machines at McDonald's. So having your own, especially on a long flight could be a good idea. 😊
@@dianacfleming uhh, why? theres no rule against electronics on a plane and itll easily fit in carry on. youd have to buy the water after security and some airports/airlines dont allow any water on board, limiting its usefulness, but its perfectly safe to fly with.

That tea kettle thingy is good for camping. There's plugs on the campgrounds but often no water and kettles are bulky. Very niche case but there's one.
For travel there exist small kettles (0,5 litres), where the cups can be stored inside the kettle during the ride - and the inner cup can hold around 6-8 teabags, so you would be all set and ready. Without this quite big square thing, where you need extra cups and a bag for the tea.
I think it's a space saving kettle and thats what it should be marketed as. Can hide it in a drawer no problem then it's fast when you need it. Tiny homes, apartments, dorms or just for kitchen astatic its great for.
I agree. There are also small trailers for motorcycles that contains a tent and cooking gear. Some of them has a large battery or even small generator. So this would be great for it's small size and light weight.
Hello guys, I just wanted to say that I’m so glad I found your channel a few months ago and I love your content. I’m completely hooked. I watch your videos every morning new and old ones. While I eat breakfast. It’s a great, upbeat, positive way to start my day. Thank you.
I do a lot of roadtrips. I use an Aeropress for Coffee and my kettle takes up so much room in my food kit. Actually more room then my coffee press. The hot water gadget would great. Saves me a ton of room. The practically for instant ramen is also great.
While I was in high school, I used to work in a bakery. I don't know how many eggs I've separated, but I know that it is many thousands. We had an egg separator very similar to this, except it was one long slide. It made that work so much easier.
The best use case i can think for the kettle is in the cabin on a boat trip, where you have electricity plugs but no storage space. Maybe if you work on one of those kind of isolated jobs you can make good use of it.

Just over the 3 minute mark.... Ben's expression is priceless ..you can almost hear his thoughts.. "I'm a trained chef...and here I am sitting next to a kindergarten pupil who is LITERALLY playing with his food!!!"
The hot water thing would be brilliant in hospital waiting rooms(avg wait 6-12 hours) dialysis center, (treatment 4 hours plus set up) all these places are kept cold, and there's never food or drink nearby. If you have to be there on the regular it would be a life saver.
Bring a thermos of hot tea or coffee. Zojirushi makes amazing 500ml and bigger thermoses that will keep your drink hot for 8+ hours. I have a big one for my tea and a smaller one for coffee.
I think health and safety laws would prevent the idea of patients preparing their own hot drinks because of the obvious risk of scalding and also spillage and subsequent falls risks. The other thing is when you’re sitting getting treatment, you’re stuck in position as you’re attached to monitors and machines that are plugged into the wall. Having had infusions myself which take hours, it’s a proper faff even going for a wee! I’d definitely recommend taking a flask, some of those little long-life milk sachets or another flask to keep fresh milk cool and set up shop next to your station. In many treatment areas like this, the hospital volunteers will go around with a trolley to keep patients going with a nice cup of tea - worth their weight in gold ❤
3:20 Years of Sorted videos, even with all the mistakes and messes that happened over the years, the thing that made Ben rage so hard he smacked the table was a pair of sausage tongs. He literally turned red.
Having a specifically fun shaped waffle iron is a great novelty for a family with kids or children at heart. Years ago my mother got really into Pokemon Go and got a pokeball shaped waffle iron, and had a blast with it. I'd imagine this would serve a very similar case for kids who love Lego (or off-brand) blocks.
I thought maybe it was a difference between the US and GB, but that is something that bothers me way more than it should. In the same way having to listen to people chew does lol.
The egg separator would be super handy if you're a bartender and you want egg whites for cocktails. Put that gadget up behind the bar and put on a show for your guests 😅
Watching Ben absolutely lose his cool when Mike uses the tongs on the table suddenly gives perspective on a lot of throwaway remarks from older videos... That was a little scary 😂 I feel like there are probably other products in the market that solve the problem of heating water on the go, which are less bulky than a regular kettle and battery-operated. 🤷♀ The egg separator is just good fun, and again if you're trying to bake or cook with kids, they would have a lot of fun watching the eggs, just like Ben, Mike and Jamie did. 😂 I want to watch Barry and Kush use that waffle maker and build something fantastical. Build enough waffles for it to actually be used as building blocks. Reminds me vaguely of old-school sorted videos like the sandcastle cake. 😊😊
Can we get an updated studio tour/ bts on how a video is made? I would love to know the people behind the scenes that make my favorite food channel possible. Love you all
Ben’s constant teabagging his… well… teabag made me have an idea: you guys should do a challenge where you learn from a tea sommelier and then make a food/tea pairing!
2 things I can think of: 1) In the US you rarely see kettles in offices. Coffee makers? Yes. Kettles? Not so much. If your coffee maker doesn't dispense hot water, it's kinda accepted to just boil water in the microwave which means no temperature control. 2) Most camping kits come with solar powered generators that you can plug into. It's mostly used to charge phones/emergency contact devices, but if you have one you could use this to get some hot water at a controlled temperature
I have a collapsible travel kettle that I use to make coffee with my Aeropress. In the US it's rare for hotel rooms to have a kettle in them, and the provided coffee maker is usually pretty terrible if there even is one.
The sorted band. Instruments made entirely from kitchen gadgets/ equipment. I can see a Christmas number 1 in the making! Would make the first gadget have a second use too’
My sister has a side gig as a baker out of her home. That egg separator would be an ideal Christmas gift for her. Thanks! EDIT: The fact that it's not branded had me performing a reverse image search. Managed to find it on Lazada out of the Philippines.
The 'anywhere you want as long as there is a plug socket' is how I described making calls with my first mobile phone nearly 20 years ago. And as there are already heating devices for travelling to put in a mug or such, this water heater would take more space I think.
That water heater is genius, I can think of plenty of applications, especially in places with space limitations like a camper or caravan. Personally, I would've loved to have one when I was in the army, where we had vehicles with electrical outlets but space was a premium.
Last sailboat I was on had power outlets, so-so water and extremely little counter space. A water heater that could be folded and securely stowed would be way handier than a kettle.
Thank you for these hilarious video. My son really enjoys them.. I do have to say that the one place I could see justifying the price of the instant kettle is if you had an RV or camper where spaces very limited but having instant hot water would be extremely useful not only for making instant noodles, hot chocolate but also if your camper doesn’t have running hot water.
If I had a camper I would probably like that water heater. Look easy enough to mount somewhere where it would be out of the way and I would never have to worry about the kettle being secured for driving
As lots of you have kids now. I think an idea could be how you adapt recipes to suit babies/toddlers i.e. how do you cook a recipe with less salt or sugar but still have it taste yummy for the whole family. Or baby food gadgets testing.
That flat kettle would actually amazing for my camping and hiking expeditions. I have a little portable solar/battery setup to change my phone/whatever else I need, and as you said its a flat so would fit quite neatly in a rucksack. I could see myself really liking something like that for a quick hot drink on a cooler hike. And not gonna lie, I kind of like the sausage tongs.
I remember when Ben was, for a while, the one who pointed out "this is clearly a gadget for people who need support doing this which gets marketed to a wider audience to make it cost effective". Sad to watch the first gadget and see he's abandoned that.
My mom has a different brand of the waffle maker and it works better. My niece was OBSESSED with it when she was about 5yo, and it was a great way to get her excited about breakfast. The long pieces are also a really good size for little hands, versus a regular waffle.
At least in North America we would say “axis” not axel, Ben. Also I just use my hand with a bunch of round wieners and roll the uncooked side over a bit when I have dozens at a time. Just a few? Regular tongs FTW. 2:58
Use case for the water heater thing. I never use the kettles in hotel rooms or AirBnbs. It always has some rust, black gunk and salt deposits that always end up in the water. I would a 100% use that gadget here
The water heater is simple: I can guarantee that device was designed and produced in Asia with the Asian market in mind specifically because there are places on the continent with strong supply chains and access to power but no potable running water built into the local domestic infrastructure. Drinking water comes in bottles, full stop, and this is an easier way to heat it up for beverages rather than use a stove or microwave or whatever.
Is it really easier than pouring the water into an electric kettle? This seems way more faff and way harder to clean than a bog standard kettle. Also I don't know about East Asia/South East Asia, but here in India, in cities where 'drinking water comes in bottles, full stop' they don't come in 1 or 2 L bottles. They come in 20 L bottles, on which we attach a dispenser. Inserting this pipe into the bottle would be more of a pain, because I would have to remove the dispenser - than dispensing some water into a kettle.
But that doesn’t in any way address the actual criticism of the product which is - why not just use a kettle instead? Whether or not you have running water is irrelevant. You can use bottled water just as easily in a kettle as you could with this thing.
@@whydoineedanameiwillneverp7790 South Korean’s and Japanese urban apartments are know for having absolutely minuscule kitchens with little to no counter tops. I believe it may have been designed with that kind of situation in mind, where you don’t have to sacrifice space for a cooking appliance and can fold it away. That being said, I agree that this is a major faff, inconvenient and it would be better to find cupboard space for a kettle.
On a long road trip with a young baby that drinks warm bottles! My car has plugs, and I always travel with water bottles, but other than bringing hot water in thermoses, this has been a problem for us before. This is great!
Well done we brought Ben to the point where gadgets bring him to James levels of defeat 😅 I’ve seen people do the rolling motion (multiple at the same time) perfectly with normal wooden tongues btw.
A simple google search pulled up a near endless selection of collapsible electric kettles that were both functionally superior and cheaper than that trash.
I commented before the price reveal because I assumed, correctly, that it would be more expensive. I did not anticipate it would be TRIPLE the price of an objectively better product.
In what, 13+ years, I've only ever been "early" twice, once showed less than 10 comments, and once actually showed zero comments but also recorded there were a couple so I loaded at a weird point.
One of the hardest times I ever laughed was Ben yelling about tongs that couldn't pick up a sausage. I really appreciate you guys bringing (sausage-specific) tongs back to kitchen gadget reviews.
The flat kettle thing would be awesome for dorm rooms. Most don't have their own kitchen but and often filthy shared one. However for that price you could get a decent normal kettle so the only redeeming quality is the small size.
I could imagine that hot water dispenser coming in handy in plenty of situation. A library, an airport lobby while waiting between flights, a train station. I don't know if motels are common in the UK, but they're super common in the US and a lot of motels don't have kettles/coffee machines. As for hotels, most US hotels have coffee machines, not kettles, and you don't want your tea or cup noodles tasting like old coffee residue. In the US, we have a lot of parks that have pavilions with power outlets; you could toss this in your backpack/laptop bag, go to the park, and have tea with your book or work. That being said, I'd never buy one. Not only is it too expensive, but I'm a silly American and I only drink low quality cold sweet tea from Arizona cans 😎
I feel like, wherever you could take that thing, you could just as well take an old-time submersion heater (which is a third of the price). And with that portable flow heater, you probably have to pour it out before packing it away, too. Also, as a practical person, I'd just bring a thermos of hot water if I know I'm gonna need it.
@@helenswan705 because we don't drink tea lol. Like, 90% of tea drank in the US is cold sweet tea, which we brew in bulk in large pots before storing in the fridge. 🤷
I know this concept is crazy to people in the UK... but most hotels and motels have microwaves... you can microwave water to get it hot. Also, most have free coffee (even cheap motels) which also has hot water dispensers attached. The one use I could think of for it would be a dorm room, because it's more compact that a kettle or microwave so saves on space. The unfortunate thing is that it's more money.
"It's got an angry end?!" Ha ha! Too many puns. Can't say any of these light my fire. I have a camping kettle that is so much better than that water heating thing. And I actually felt my soul leave my body when I saw those sausage tongs.
Just saying something I have seen in some videos: you have the ease of movement you have and the fact certain specific products are of no use to you, doesn’t mean they are useless. I would really like to see another video on more accessible products, featuring some of the rejected gadgets, but seeing them in the light of different disabilities. For example, the rolling tongs can help someone with limited wrist and hand mobility.
My thought process with the "not a kettle tm" is if you travel frequently to places where kettles aren't common. Like in the US, tea isn't common, and so kettles aren't a common amenity in hotels and such. Another would taking it to campgrounds/cabins where power/water may be available.
Surely with the tongs you’re meant to hold the sausage on the sides at one end and then “using the power of gravity” it swings down because of the rotating part and it flips! I think I got more irate than Ebbers watching that.
8:45 If it came with a car plug and a way to connect to a powerbench, yes useful. To go, camping, field work, road work, truckers etc. They missed a beat when they only made it with a wall plug.
as a student in university, where tea costs about 2.5 euros per cup, the instant water brewer would already have made its money back in a month, while also being able to serve tea in the very short breaks between lectures! Also, think about the instant ramen noodles while waiting on a delayed train at 6:30 pm on your way home!
But why not just buy an electric kettle? You can buy mini ones you know. That device is inefficient and way over-priced when compared to your bog standard kettle...
I'd imagine that water heater would be pretty popular with truckers. This would take up less space and is flat and more stable thus less likely to fall over and roll around in your truck. I can also this work well when camping especially now that powerbanks with household plugs are becoming more popular that or you could plug it into most electric cars.
My grandmother had an egg separator. A little slotted holder that would do 1 egg at a time. That's all a home cook needs, and it's much smaller and less prone to problems than that slidem
Mild pushback on the kettle thing: kettles are ubiquitous in the UK, but this is not the case everywhere. If you were travelling around in the US for example, none of the listed places would by default have a kettle.
Yep, hotels/motels in the States have either a drip coffee pot or sometimes a K-cup machine. Sure we CAN make tea with those, but the water will probably taste a bit coffee-ish.
3 minutes in and I love that Ebbers is just irritated 😂 I can see the second one being useful in disaster situations providing you manged to grab you full emergency kit and are in a shelter
That hot water dispenser would be perfect for camping… I have a solar power system that also has an outlet built into it and it would be absolutely perfect for having a cup of coffee when you first start to set up camp before you even build a campfire… Absolutely love that
@CrazySharp That's why I said if your not walking very far. Been camping plenty of times and brought a kettle. Small electric kettles exist for the exact purpose of camping and caravans and are at least half the price.

@moniquem783 Yes! I've considered getting one but I'm worried my cat would tip it over 😅
Yes I agree with this as another person with wrist difficulties although I am not sure I would want either of these two specific solutions.
Ben being so irate is the funniest thing I've seen. Especially over a piece of tongs lmao
They are a staggeringly stupid tool, so I can sympathise.
Funny this is the 2nd time. There was a pair of tongs he got really annoyed with some years ago in a video with James.
Some cooking challenge where it’s the only utensil he’s allowed to use
Ebbers, as a Kiwi, obsessed with tea, who is forced to travel to the US a lot, the fact that I’m constantly told in hotels “oh just zap a cup of water in the microwave for your tea” makes me want to scream. That water heater is genius and I need one in my life. I can’t gerryrig up another bloody Kureig machine just to try and get hot water for tea. It’s too much, too much I say ☠️
Why not just microwave it? It’s more energy efficient for a single cup and the microwave is in everywhere
So while you've used fancy words that are somewhat relevant to heating water in a microwave, it doesn't have anything to do with taste like you say. Maybe it was just the water, or something else in the way it was prepared. I don't see how it could be the microwave.
@@nzchrisgirl Put things in the water, it'll stop it from superheating.
@@nzchrisgirl Just put a toothpick or something in the water and it'll stop superheating. Takes like a 10 second google search to find a fix for your issue. If you still want the portable thing, by all means just buy it, but a microwave will also work.
Some airplanes have power outlets between the seats. Imagine a stewardess asking if you'd like a cup of tea and you just go "no thanks, I have my own" and pull that out 😂
You'd never get it through security.
I now want to try that! I can imagine it being able to get though security, as you’re able to have a carry on hair straightener.
Korean Air have just announced they wont be giving out boiling water for cup ramen anymore. I can finally see a market for this thing. Airplane ramen shall live again!
Woudnt you have camping cooking gear with you? You can just boil water on the stove then right? One less thing to carry
I think it's a space saving kettle and thats what it should be marketed as. Can hide it in a drawer no problem then it's fast when you need it. Tiny homes, apartments, dorms or just for kitchen astatic its great for.
If you’ve got a tiny kitchen or a camper/RV style kitchen, I can see the tiny kettle being a great benefit.
Outlets in cars in general is getting more common, so I can see a great need for this. If it only was a bit more streamline-ly designed.
I agree. There are also small trailers for motorcycles that contains a tent and cooking gear. Some of them has a large battery or even small generator. So this would be great for it's small size and light weight.
It's not that tiny. A travel kettle would take up less space.
So get a small kettle then. One that doesn't spit out a cup of too-cold water. And can actually boil water for tea.
I was about to comment the same thing!

Might also work for an RV, where you have the same space issue.
I think it's a space saving kettle and thats what it should be marketed as. Can hide it in a drawer no problem then it's fast when you need it. Tiny homes, apartments, or just for kitchen astatic its great for.
Also when youre riding in a train
Just over the 3 minute mark.... Ben's expression is priceless ..you can almost hear his thoughts.. "I'm a trained chef...and here I am sitting next to a kindergarten pupil who is LITERALLY playing with his food!!!"
And they didn´t even get to the waffle lego yet! xD
TBF isn't that pretty much why we all love Sorted?
I got my nephew the building blick waffle maker because he lives blocks. His mom says that he loves it!!
I want to get one for my brother in law!
Mike looks so happy playing with his little sausage
and tongs.
I don't know how many times I have to hear Mr precision call an axis axle before I crack but I'm here for it.
Genuinely thought after all these years I was wrong with axis because Ebbers kept repeating axle.
@@BlinkyMet If I were there, I'd definitely correct him.
That was a little scary 😂
I feel like there are probably other products in the market that solve the problem of heating water on the go, which are less bulky than a regular kettle and battery-operated. 🤷♀
The egg separator is just good fun, and again if you're trying to bake or cook with kids, they would have a lot of fun watching the eggs, just like Ben, Mike and Jamie did. 😂
I want to watch Barry and Kush use that waffle maker and build something fantastical. Build enough waffles for it to actually be used as building blocks. Reminds me vaguely of old-school sorted videos like the sandcastle cake. 😊😊
Instead of making a gingerbread decoration video, they could do a wafflehouse decoration video haha
I love how thrilled Mike was with the egg separator!
Can we get an updated studio tour/ bts on how a video is made? I would love to know the people behind the scenes that make my favorite food channel possible. Love you all
Currently sat in a camper van in Iceland and I think that instant hot water gadget would be very useful right now
Ben’s constant teabagging his… well… teabag made me have an idea: you guys should do a challenge where you learn from a tea sommelier and then make a food/tea pairing!
I love it! Get those coffee loving Brits some tea lessons!
Don from Mei Leaf!
Love this!!
Or have them first each make a cup of tea and the sommelier rates them and then teaches them and see what they learn! And then pair!
Or have a tea making challenge from china, Japan, the uk etc and see how they compare
Would make the first gadget have a second use too’
Ben fully turned into an irate teacher from the prep school era hitting a desk with a cane when he hit the table with the tongs
To look up while listening when Mike goes "Ny-oooom" with the sausage to follow up with Ben, I couldn't stop laughing!
We need more testy gadgets :p
I guarantee that waffle maker exists because someone started wondering if they could *actually* LEGO their Eggo.
Nice
Hahahaha I love the part where Mike is playing with his food, and Ben got so upset.
A water heater that could be folded and securely stowed would be way handier than a kettle.
the sausage turning tongs make sense for people with dexterity issues or RSI. Cleaning them might be an issue.
Ben's rage is what I'm here for, nothing makes a video more fun then when one of the boys is being negative. Made my day.
As lots of you have kids now. I think an idea could be how you adapt recipes to suit babies/toddlers i.e. how do you cook a recipe with less salt or sugar but still have it taste yummy for the whole family. Or baby food gadgets testing.
my dad has dietbietes, and two kids, that would be great!
That egg separator just made me think of a cat toy 😂 kittens would go wild for it!
Man "is this your new best friend or is it just six degrees of separation" was right there.
I love how Mike is enjoying annoying Ebbers with those tongs and poor Ebbers is just playing right into it 😂
my initial reaction to the egg separator "that's a nightmare to clean!!!"
soap and soak?

as someone whos job was doing this for a caterer, i think its great.
At least in North America we would say “axis” not axel, Ben. Also I just use my hand with a bunch of round wieners and roll the uncooked side over a bit when I have dozens at a time. Just a few? Regular tongs FTW. 2:58
I came to say this!!! Axis not axel.
There were what looked like Chinese characters on the front
My thoughts exactly
Axis, Axis, AXIS! (not Axle). 😆
Came here to say that
Well done we brought Ben to the point where gadgets bring him to James levels of defeat 😅
I’ve seen people do the rolling motion (multiple at the same time) perfectly with normal wooden tongues btw.
A simple google search pulled up a near endless selection of collapsible electric kettles that were both functionally superior and cheaper than that trash.
I commented before the price reveal because I assumed, correctly, that it would be more expensive. I did not anticipate it would be TRIPLE the price of an objectively better product.
That last gadget made me say "Eggo my Leggo." IYKYK ^-^

Thanks Mike. You reminded me that I need to find my shoehorn as my right wellie never wants to slip on easily.
The flat kettle thing would be awesome for dorm rooms. Most don't have their own kitchen but and often filthy shared one.
However for that price you could get a decent normal kettle so the only redeeming quality is the small size.

Jamie's wurst gadget ever and Le-go puns are killing me, keep them coming 🤣🤣
Nope, in UK, kettles are universal. We don't understand how you Americans manage without them.
@@rolfs2165 fair. You could also make your tea at home and toss it in the thermos, no need to even bring tea bags with ya.
These are my favorite videos on the channel. I would watch a new one every day if I could. Keep it up fellas

That's definitely how I've seen them being advertised to me.
8:45 If it came with a car plug and a way to connect to a powerbench, yes useful. To go, camping, field work, road work, truckers etc. They missed a beat when they only made it with a wall plug.

We get the full range of emotions in this episode--Ben furious at the tongs and Mike's sheer giddiness over the egg serperator.
Quote of the Day: “Does it take your blood to 80 degrees?”
as a student in university, where tea costs about 2.5 euros per cup, the instant water brewer would already have made its money back in a month, while also being able to serve tea in the very short breaks between lectures! Also, think about the instant ramen noodles while waiting on a delayed train at 6:30 pm on your way home!
But why not just buy an electric kettle? You can buy mini ones you know. That device is inefficient and way over-priced when compared to your bog standard kettle...
Nice to see these non sponsored so Ebbers can be honest
I'd imagine that water heater would be pretty popular with truckers. This would take up less space and is flat and more stable thus less likely to fall over and roll around in your truck. I can also this work well when camping especially now that powerbanks with household plugs are becoming more popular that or you could plug it into most electric cars.
My grandmother had an egg separator. A little slotted holder that would do 1 egg at a time. That's all a home cook needs, and it's much smaller and less prone to problems than that slidem
“I live in a world of compromise.” Mike has such an eloquent way to describe the hell of contending with small children 😂😂
Mild pushback on the kettle thing: kettles are ubiquitous in the UK, but this is not the case everywhere. If you were travelling around in the US for example, none of the listed places would by default have a kettle.
I remember when Sorted visited the Mythical Kitchen and were totally gobsmacked there was no kettle. Would have come in handy!
I was going to say the same thing!
Yep, hotels/motels in the States have either a drip coffee pot or sometimes a K-cup machine. Sure we CAN make tea with those, but the water will probably taste a bit coffee-ish.
3 minutes in and I love that Ebbers is just irritated 😂
I can see the second one being useful in disaster situations providing you manged to grab you full emergency kit and are in a shelter
That kettle would work wonders for when I'm doing long distance trucking!
That hot water dispenser would be perfect for camping… I have a solar power system that also has an outlet built into it and it would be absolutely perfect for having a cup of coffee when you first start to set up camp before you even build a campfire… Absolutely love that
Unless your walking a long way to your camp-site just bring a kettle. Cheaper and better.
@@jaggsy420 takes up way more space… When you’re camping or hiking space and weight are of essential consideration
@CrazySharp That's why I said if your not walking very far. Been camping plenty of times and brought a kettle. Small electric kettles exist for the exact purpose of camping and caravans and are at least half the price.
