Her voice is totally blown out in this. Too much smoking + screaming. She's been quoted before saying she's smoked anywhere from 2-3 packs of cigarettes a day, but she apparently quit within the last year.
@Cigsex420 she wrote the first Hole record by herself...and i think Pretty on the Inside is her best work.. even coz she was judged by her own talent. and one more thing. She wrote lots of songs in 89/90 alone.. songs called Violet, Doll Parts, Drown Soda, Miss World...Corgan and Cobain were not in her life..just saying if u didn't know that..
can you please please release the other songs?? her voice is extremely unique sounding in this clip and i would treasure the opportunity to hear the others.. thanks1

She is a really good artist, she writes amazing songs and sings as a rock woman !!! she obviously has a rock woman voice, but here, she got problems, and It looks like she is sick!!!
Love how the guitarist had to tell her what the words are. Its pretty ironic in that, the musicians in the band are all quite talented musicians (and Courtney can barely sing at all), but they would never have been famous with out her.

This is all after she shows up 2 hours late too :^) Pretty incredible experience though being there with just a handful a people there in the room.
I'm glad she quit smoking. She needs it to save that voice! Love her music.
The start was a bit rough. But after the chorus her vocals came through.
