“You need 50 conversations to get your two appointments. That sure puts so much into perspective. I used to put so much emphasis on door count. “Knock 1000 doors and then come talk to me”. Yeah I knocked my first 1000 in about 6 weeks. Have yet to get that number of interactions though. I’ve knocked 150 doors in a day and have had less than 10 interactions.
You don’t need to knock 50 to get 2 appointments if your doing your job correctly. I knocked 2 homes and pitched each for 5 minutes. Both sat down, both closed. Give me a neighborhood of 100 and if 40 percent of them are home. 50 percent of them will sit. And 75 percent of the sits will close.
You need to knock better doors, look for signs of life.
Lmao!!!! I would like to see you pull that off in a cookie cutter in Houston. Place is so goddamn hit up I’ve seen a homeowner start delivering the very pitch the setter was about to deliver soon as he opened the door! And this was one of the top setters in the industry.
first things first is qualify your doors, i don't knock homes that have only one car in the driveway. Signs of life. Before i used to knocked everything i saw. Now i dropped door knocks by alot and my conversations went up. But dont count instant "not interested" or anything else, count conversations where you pitched completely and presented well
I can typically get one in ten HOs to say yes to a sit. I mean sure i might knock 30 doors and get 10 HOs but yeah. 2 leads from 50 HOs? Damn. That’s rough.
