@@sophia3568 "deer in the headlights" is a saying, it basically means "to be so surprised that you’re paralyzed." cause deers usually freeze up in fear when they see headlights approaching them before car crashes. billie is in a state of shock, she doesn't know what to do and she's frozen in awe because of the girl.

One of the rare artists who sound better live than on original songs (even though original songs are masterpieces). True art. Also, I love how she became comfortable with who she is, you can really hear that in her singing. So beautuful!

I love this song, I'm 49 and not part of her target audience obvs lol, but it's insanely catchy and I like that twangy 80s New Order like guitar, the dramatic pauses, and that bass player is amazing, he makes the guitar come alive, he's really good. I think it sounds even better live. In this day and age, it's nice that a girl can sing about another girl and it's OK, and it should be OK.

That's a comparison i would have never thought I'd see someone make. It's definitely not the sound. But I can sort of see where you're coming. Love Johnette more.
