"more than just a traditional narrative, audio visual experience, what comes after movies"..... Sorry Harmony but Kubrick already did this over 50 years ago with 2001
Tom Gunning's theoretical piece on the 'Cinema of Attractions' kind of theorises nicely the dual purpose of film throughout its history as a medium. It began as more of a vaudeville-style novelty attraction, just moments (I guess what harmony calls 'blinks') used as a vehicle for a tech marvel. narrative and 'cinema' were ultimately developments that moved the medium into a space that society called for at a set time in history, one which have essentially exited now. so in a way you might as well say 'the lumiere brothers did this over 100 years ago with workers leaving the factory' - there have always been elements of narrative in films and always elements of attraction. Kubrick made an arthouse blockbuster (very rare) but it was a movie, designed to be experienced as movies are. loads of stuff similar to 2001 (in terms of narrative:spectacle) ratio will have come way before 2001 and has come since, all of it part of the natural artistic continuum.

make it make it dont fake it
I gave this guy 20 bucks for a sack of weed and he never came back to my apartment. Where's my weed, Harmony?
He's 100% trolling us with this film.
Can't wait to see it 😂
In what way is he trolling? He's pretty straightforward with his answers.
So excited to watch this

based
so essentially SlingbladeRUNNR..once a biscuit+mustrd eatr….
He just tries to make it based
Harmony we gotta hang
why is the literal crack addict making more sense than most modern film directors
Because Harmony has found a sense of reasoning in madness. Something people can't do so easily. He knows how to color outside of the box.
Because he sees the craziness and absurdity in this country (& others) and just exploits it. Ker-ching.
talking about music is like dancing about architecture. SHOW THE FUCKING FILM.
king shit
Am i the only one asking why is there a number 1 in the title of the film?
bruh, u 3vn txt

I was thinking the exact same thing.
