Wow The Four Seasons Hotel at West Lake is a very beautiful hotel. I’ve stayed there last year with my family for 2 nights. We stayed in the Deluxe Garden view room for US$740/night (Room only) Beautiful room and the service was great. Nothing negative to say about this hotel. Hangzhou for me the best city in China. Hangzhou has a lot of very nice hotels around the west lake. Thank you for showing us one of them. There's also another very luxury one called Aman Fayun just by the ancient Linyin Temple which is designed as tradional Chinese style. Hope you'll have a good time in Hangzhou!❤
At first when you say it starts at U$750 / night in China, I was like WTF. But 78 rooms spread out in a sprawling private Sung Period inspired garden with a private section of the West Lake. And scene like 15:58 I guess they really take that traditional garden and house design of "One window one scene, one door one picture" concept. Now I am like, man, I need to work harder to pay for a vacation there 😅

Hangzhou is the most beautiful city in China. The west lake is a true gem. Ironically the most beautiful parts of west lake tend to be the least visited parts. And $750 a night in a hotel like this and in such a location is an absolutely incredible bargain today.
Yeah, I agree. China's prices is quite cheaper even you compared to other destinations such as in Southeast Asia and East Asia. It would be great to spend more to get the more value out of your travel.
I think this hotel is expensive 50% due to its location....Xihu, meaning West Lake in Chinese, is so famous for a lot of beautiful romantic stories from ancient China. Tons of tourists go there and make hotels near Xihu extremely over priced.

Stayed in the Four Season in London last year. They charged £1300 a night, totally not worth it.
US$750 in Hangzhou with such a setting is a bargain.
In my opinion big branded high end hotels are cheaper in China than most places across the world.

@ 10 years ago I paid $600 for one night .It was a perfect experience.
china is the place to enjoy luxury. Hotels, restaurants are all reasonable priced. value for money. Elsewhere they charge you double/triple for less.
By the west lake, Four Season and Aman Fayun are my favourite.
