The swedish T 80 U definitely does not belong at 11.0 I don't get why they moved it up, it doesn't make any sense. They should move it back down, especially since T-90A is still at 10.7 and the slow the reverse isn't a good enough reason why it should be at 10.7 while everything else is a 11.0 considering armor, rounds, and LWS which will save you many times from drones or helis. Definitely agree with your take. Used to really enjoy it at 10.7 but with its unreasonable uptier it makes me want to get a refund for the ge I put in especially since it's the only tank I ever put a talisman even if it could only grind through 2 ranks effectively. Still hoping they bring it back down.
I bring this to 11.7 often as 3rd spawn or so, 3BM42 is more than strong enough to deal with whatever enemy is spawning in late game. Especially when it’s time for brawling and 2A6 isn’t the greatest at that.
XM8 will forever be my favorite looking tank. It’s ok with stage 3 armor but the stage 1 looks so clean. Just wish it had a better round than M774. (I’m of the opinion it should definitely have M833 and possibly M900)

The part where justin talk about hitting the Mi-28 at front or back but still gets damage to tail might be due to the fly by wire system the Mi-28 uses, if you damage that it directly effects the tail controls thus damaging tail, well most helis in war thunder are modeled to be fly by wire.
Just a newer comment if anyone is curious this tank is actually very good great fire power great speed terrible reverse speed but I find myself holding W and getting 5 kills almost every life in this tank does just fine at 11.7 and is easily one of my favorite tanks in the game she can also take a lot of hits sometimes
what do you think about m1a1 and ipm1 right now? my 10.7 line up is kinda screw because they have to face top tier jet and helicopter. i do face them before but not as usual as they are right now and it become a real problem for me . and i have nothing to fight back. so either i go for the top tier match or i suffer at 11.0 ;_;
good video. One problem you say it cannot brawl at this BR for all the wrong reasons. Might I remind you every NATO tank except the leo's are a glass cannon. Like Abrams is sherman of top tier. So, regardless of which BR Russian tanks are in they can easily get 4 to 5 kills before a death. A Russian bias user's rushed shot can kill a NATO player, whilst vice versa cannot.

Gaijin purposely made Russian ammo harder to detonate and turned off internal spalling. This was datamined a long time ago. Which is funny since Russia already had the most broken top tier armor profiles to begin with alongside ERA that eats whole rounds. Literally the only thing nato tanks have is a better reverse gear and moderate forward speed advantage. Also most Russian tanks have better optics than the nato tanks

The Israelis and Americans had the same low pen sabot round issue from 9.0 to 10.3. Until the Israelis actually got a new round and broke free from the shit sabot shackles for their merkavas and I kid you not at 9.3 got the 105mm M413 round with 408mm flat pen. Which makes a massive difference for their vehicles. The US Abrams tanks just get stomped still because in order for you to be effective with the Abrams against the T72 especially at 10.3 matchmaking you have to have incredible aim and reflexes because not only does M774 not have great pen but also doesn’t spall well even against nato tanks. Against Russian tanks it’s a joke. A majority of the time a perfect lower plate shot against a T72 or T80 will just kill the driver and knock out the engine. Or set the fuel tanks on fire. It is soo incredibly hard to ammo rack Russian tanks with 105mm to begin with let alone M774. I mean 120mm rounds with any pen still almost never ammorack russian tanks so idk

28nm flies better, has slightly less armament, though the K150 flies like a brick, it survives more hits and is a bit more capable. Comes down to preference actually

I'm a Swedish main and only use this in my 11.7 line up, it has the best mobility and speed of the top tier tree and is perfect as first spawn. The armor holds its own so at 11.0 it is fine. Edit: you fight mainly Russia and China so killing those tanks is easy with only 3 crew.
Its fine without 3BM46, it never even got it when it was given by the Russians. Hell were lucky enough to even have the AHS, Mi-28A and T 80 U since all Sweden did was drive them and not put them to service.

Also, about non exploding ammo, that's either a miss from the enemy or bad luck, we all know (and your video showed) light vehicles bounce apfsds, thermals don't work sometimes, those shots at the second match on the leopard that just don't spall, weird things happen and isn't becuase the game is biased to any of those nations.

There are 3 rounds by the loaders legs, they are not part of the first stage stowage so most players will keep it empty.

Gaijins cope with giving almost every russian tank high quality gen2 and Gen3 thermals is hilarious. Plus the ridiculous era and armor. As for the thermals they aren't legal (as far as I know) to buy although the information is public for future costumer's and Russia has gen 3 thermals but they might be kinda worse than NATO although there is china that can give them the information on how to build them.

Every abrams after the m1a1hc had depleted uranium armor which almost doubled its armor values and du rounds which would slice straight thru this Russian bullshit armor sooooo where the fuck are those rounds at? And every single abrams again after the HC had upgraded thermals soooo where the fuck they at?
It could easily have stayed at 10.7, there's nothing special about it and I'm not saying this is a bad tank either.

Mango bounces at Abrams and Leopards at too tier? Well, that happens at 9.7 when they first appear too, thats the entire soviet thing, your firepower really isn't the biggest thing you have in your favor, even the BM60 is one of the lesser penetrating top tier shells. I'm really curious what the BM60 can pen that the BM42 can't.
Also, about non exploding ammo, that's either a miss from the enemy or bad luck, we all know (and your video showed) light vehicles bounce apfsds, thermals don't work sometimes, those shots at the second match on the leopard that just don't spall, weird things happen and isn't becuase the game is biased to any of those nations.
