Generative AI has emerged as a powerful yet disruptive force in higher education, reshaping how we teach, learn, and work. As AI capabilities rapidly evolve, educators, administrators, and students are all in a state of discovery, collectively navigating the new opportunities and challenges this technology presents. In this session, Ard and Hughes explore the collaborative journey we are on as we develop responsive strategies at the enormous scale of the nation’s largest four-year higher education institution.
The 6NRP workshop covered both the current state of the National Research Platform (NRP) as well as its future direction and long-term viability and success. Taking place from January 28 to January 30, 2025, this workshop brought together more than 100 representatives from NRP partners and many other institutions that support domain scientists, network and system administrators, and campus CIOs.
