I don’t know when will my local member of parliament will realise that just fixing footpaths, cycle lanes and putting dustbins in every 200 metres and educating people to not honk constantly will make travel experience 1000 times better. Stress level will go down, people would walk and cycle more, pollution will decrease drastically. But god knows when will Indian politicians get this enlightenment.
This is a truly insightful video! The tips are helpful for everyone, even Indians traveling within our own country. Your comparison of India to the US in the 1800s was particularly insightful and offered a unique perspective. While India, like any nation, has its challenges, constant criticism from some foreign UA-camrs often lacks historical context. The colonial era's impact is still felt, and it takes time for a country as vast and diverse as India to overcome these challenges. Thank you for your respectful and nuanced approach,a refreshing change from typical travel vlogs. I wholeheartedly appreciate your understanding of India, it's why I subscribed and continue to watch your content.
@@msdadsfsxIndian politics got corrupt and Thought infusion and Foreign governments were always involved in making decisions for Indians... Goggle Tata Steel. Tata started as an Indian company under the Raj. It produced the steel for the Indian railroads under British rule. It was an Indian company owned and operated by Indians. There are other examples, Tata is the best example and is one of the largest multi conglomerates in the world today. In general the industrial age occurred very rapidly after partition, but it did occur in India in the late 1800s.
Hey there I noticed you had visited the trek in Maharashtra I would suggest you to start the trek early in the morning like around 4-5am that's the best time till you get to the top the view is just the best
Not good advice about the local sim. I travel to India frequently, t -mobile will rip you off on the international plan and still not work. You need to go to a proper jio or airtel store, show your us passport and india visa ( as you will not have the aadhar) and get the sim. Dirt cheap, and works well.

The Kallanai Dam, also known as the Grand Anicut, is the world's oldest functional dam. It is located on the Kaveri River in Tamil Nadu, India. Built by: King Karikala Chola of the Chola dynasty Date: Around the 2nd century CE-- And still in use! Purpose: The dam was originally constructed to divert water for irrigation, and it continues to serve this purpose today. Features: Made of unhewn stone, the dam spans about 329 meters (1,080 feet) in length and is about 20 meters (66 feet) wide. Its design has inspired modern engineering projects, and it is a testament to the advanced engineering skills of ancient India.

They will, when we start voting on those parameters instead of religion and/or caste.
