[10/08/23] This particular video made my mind calmer while im having hormonal issues. Having been spending time at home, doing chores, dishes, cleaning, for granma on my hormonal days. I find Vietnam videos therapeutic. I feel like i am travelling away from my comfort zone.
*i already traveled Hanoi in 2012. But my last out of the country was 2019. So it's been 4 years of dreaming to travel again. And Vietnam is my dream goal. Praying that in 2025.

Since you’re traveling in a country where language barrier is the situation most of the time, I think there is an app like the google translator. You use it when you speak in English and the app will translate for you in whatever language you wish it translated. I’ve seen it in some ads

I've just got back from 3 weeks in Vietnam and used Google translate alot. You speak English or Vietnamese in it and it converts it and says and converts to text in the opposite language. So you can have mini conversations or it helps clarifies things if they can't understand your English.

Banh Mi PHUONG and Banh Mi KHANH.
These are 2 famous banh mi shops.
Also, you can ask for moon cake where can you buy? Moon cake ( Banh Trung Thu ).
They sell from 15 Aug until 25 Sept every year ( it is a season moon cake ).

New subscriber!!! Went to Vietnam about 4 years ago when my son was living there. Just outside of Hoi An. Hoi An is the place to get custom made clothes. So we can know the prices in American or Canadian $$ that would be great.

Clip at 8:30. There is a mythical goddess called Matsu who is very popular with Chinese sea travelers. That temple is designated for Her and was constructed by a Chinese Association in Hoi An.

I just left Hoi An! Banh Mi Phoung is a place made famous by Anthony Bourdain in Old Town. Also, if the price isn't listed, ask first. There are some who do a foreigner price if unaware.

Zane. Awesome video of Hoi An. I could " feel " the heat on your face, but that didn't stop you from filming. You are such a wonderful travel guide, and that's why I just subscribed. Oh, about that jerk that didn't let you use the toilet even when you offered to buy a drink from him. Here's my Vietnamese for him : " fuck you, asshole. " FYI. I am Vietnamese. Zane, love you, bro.

Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam industrial city. Lots of pollution, traffic, and is most populated city in Vietnam with a population of 9,321,000 Vietnamese living and working in the city. Its like New York, London, Paris, Sidney Australia.

You visited the amazing city of Hoi An and did NOTHING while you were there. You didn't visit their famous covered bridge. You did not go on a boat ride at night. You did not visit the lamp makers or custom clothes makers the city is known for. You did not go on the basket boar ride. You did not visit the nearby beach or take any food making class they have there. You literally just walked around lost and drank a coffee and ate a sandwich. IF you're going to travel to a city you should actually check out the city and do local activities the city is known for.

Tried banh mi Phuong and banh mi Khanh, they are both nothing special. Very overrated. Banh mi in the US tastes a lot better and bigger. Hoi An is my most favorite Vietnamese city. Charming city at might.
