I also love pointing out that pretty much the first major joke on Phineas & Ferb, from the first episode ("Rollercoaster") is basically a classic cutaway gag that you'd find in the early Family Guy seasons Dan worked on "No school for three months, our lives should be a rollercoaster! And I mean a good rollercoaster, not like the one we rode at the county fair."

That Popsicle bit reminds me of an old Gong Show bit called "Have You Got a Nickle?", but is much more well known as "The Popsicle Twins". Apparently it aired on the East Coast, and it freaked NBC out so much, that they barred it from airing on the West Coast, and it was literally just two girls sitting down and sultrily licking popsicles. There wasn't even a soundtrack, just the audience hooting and hollering.

I like the Rubber band rubber balls song from Phineas and Ferb because it is Bollywood and I have rarely seen Bollywood done in western media. Was it Swampy? (she clears her throat between 4 and 3, and her voice goes the way it should have been)
It would have been a great addition for the two that got removed to just be a black screen with “CENSORED” written across. Would have fit the song perfectly!
It is kind of interesting because now that I’m thinking about it, “All the Convoluted Reasons we Pretend to be Divorced” and the FCC song actually sound pretty similar.
