Ummet Ozcan - A Turkish DJ now living in the Netherlands. He's now an awesome composer/performer, meshing techno with ancient instruments, vocals and melodies.
Otyken - An indigenous band from Siberia, blending traditional music, vocals and instruments of their culture with pop and rock.
Altay - This is the name of the song. I think Altay is referring to a theoretical family of languages called Altaic, to which both Ummet's and Otyken's languages belong. The common language roots bind Ummet and Otyken together.

Thank you for sharing. I think the fact that you forgot to unmute yourself speaks volumes. I have not been moved so much by something in so long. In fact, I didn't realize how long it has been since something has really inspired and touched my soul. This song, and Otyken, have brought me to literal tears the past couple days. It almost feels like, to me, something similar to what Bill & Ted's Wild Stallions supposedly do in the future. This has crossed barriers of age, culture, race, and every different background and everybody's soul understands its language with or without the Captions on. THIS is what music is supposed to do when it has reached its highest evolution. They kept it short and everybody wants it to keep going, but they didn't make it too short that our souls weren't transplanted to a spiritual Otyken, where we all lay down our weapons for once. These music seems to have grown up out of nothing; like it isn't influenced by others previously, but that it is music's earliest ancestor and all we've ever heard has been watered down and divided ever since.

Altay/Altai is an important word and place. I watched a lecture on evolutionary genetics, and it was stated that ~ 20 thousand years ago in Southern Siberia, in Altai, the ancestors of modern Eastern and Western Europeans lived (markers R1a and R1b, respectively). Then all R1 migrated to the west, but initially Altai is the ancestral home of most of the entire white race. It is known from other sources (Dene-Yenisei theory) that other non-R1 Siberian aborigens - the Selkups and Kets are the ancestors of American aborigines (for example, Navajo), aborigines of Japan (Ainu), as well as Finns and Hungarians. Nowadays pure Kets and Selkups are very rare (there is a girl named Hakkaida in the group, probably she?). In recent couple of millennias, they were assimilated by Turkic-speaking nomads, and this is how the Chulyms people arose, who live on the Chulym River (a tributary of the Ob river) in the Krasnoyarsk region. The Chulym people make up the majority of the Otyken group, and most of the group's songs are written in their language. This language belongs to the Turkic language family, which probably explains the invitation of Ummet Ozcan (Turkish musician from the Netherlands). Ummet Ozcan sounds not as indigeniously (natively Siberian) as others but adds a lot of his own flafour and modern international vibe, imo. Consider reactions to their other masterpieces: Phenomenon (my favorite so far), Storm, Genesis, My Wing, Legend, ... Genesis received a Grammy award in 2022 if I'm not mistaken.

@@ЗауральскиебудниAnd the lands around the Altai mountains were the ancient homeland of the most Turkic Tribes. We are speaking of a time period where Russia as a nation didn't exist and the turkish clans founded empires.
So this is not about states, it's about an ancient culture, language family and ethnicity and history which dominated for a long time the Asian continent. You can't deny that Ozcan repeats here name's of all the ancient Turkic gods, that Otyken (Ötüken) is the name of the mysterious holly capitol of the Turks. İt is part of the turkic mythology.
Nobody disputes that Altai lies within the borders of today's Russia, but that is not the point here when we say that this music, the instruments and the singers have Turkish origins. It is simply a statement.
