Filter's platinum-selling, sophomore title has been remastered and is now available on vinyl for the first time, as well as on CD and digital. All formats are expanded featuring four bonus tracks: “(Can’t You) Trip Like I Do” (originally recorded for the cult-classic soundtrack Spawn The Album), “Jurassitol” (previously released on The Crow: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), plus remixes of the singles “The Best Things (Humble Brothers Remix)” and “Take a Picture (H&H Remix).” Both the two-LP set, and CD will feature new liner notes by author, journalist, and Side Jams podcast host Bryan Reesman. The expanded digital album also offers five additional rarities, including a live version of “Take A Picture,” “The Best Things (Dub Pistols Club Mix)” and more.
This is a weird ironic unexpected but unassociated moment in time hearing him say "I can't breathe..I can't breathe..I can't breathe.." in mid 2020.

I'm so happy they made these videos. This album is in my top 10 favorite albums of all time. It's so special to me and to hear about the individual songs is the best thing ever. Thank you Filter for your awesome music!

The Best Things is Filter's best song, best song of 1999, and definitely aged well to where it's underlying message rings supreme to this day. There's a happy feeling with the key it's in, until you get to the chorus where odd power chords diminish the good feeling you had in the verse.....and that final chorus and outro that fades into a lofi industrial sounding ending really gives you a questionable sense of hope. This is one of the few bands I've heard where the intentions really come out in fold and we as fans should be thankful for the gift.

In Brazil we have our healthcare system called SUS. It's free for everyone, for any country and it's one of the things that Bolsonaro wants to end. Glad to know that this song has this meaning, it's a great and unique record.
