hi i can't send XMR from my Gui wallet to Binance, everything is fully upgraded, firmware etc and monero gui is 0.17.2.2, it gets stuck at creating transaction for over 5 minutes then i close it
@@moneromonero15 Actually I do. Lets say for instance I run my own node is it detectable, not the transactions but rather the fact that I have my own node by my ISP or govt. If yes, then might a publicly trusted node outside my country protect me from that. Thank you.
Nice video. So, the GUI miner is automatically associated with the primary account and if the block is found it will be rewarded into that primary account/wallet?
Brilliant video, im just testing this out on an old laptop to see what the crack is, I know I wont do anything with it but as long as I can see it working then who knows where I can go with this
I downloaded the bc and currently running the full node successfully thanks to your vid! Quick question tho where or how do you select which wallet address you want to receive mining rewards into...? I have 3 different wallets but afaik there's no option to select the mining address in the GUI
Forgive my ignorance, but...can one set up and utilize this Monero GUI wallet all in and via Tails? Or should I not be concerned with setting up the GUI wallet with Monero on my regular PC interface? I guess I'm mainly wondering how one goes about accessing this wallet for use ON Tails, once the wallet/account has been set up. Would really appreciate some direction here.
Yes you can. I have personally not done this but heres a guide i found: moneroguide.com/2018/11/06/how-to-use-monero-using-tails-installing-monero-on-tails/ If you run into any obstacles the Monero support subreddit can help out, just search for posts like what you're dealing with or create new one.
If u want to skip downloading gtk hash. you can open the terminal where your linux monero download is and type "sha256sum" then hit tab and the file name should autopopulate
I have set up my first PC to run this, however it was on an old laptop which only has 4 cores - I would like to put monero on another laptop an connect it to that first node, is that possible withou having to download all the block data from scratch?
Do you know how to do offline transaction signing on the Monero GUI? I have funds there but have no idea how to withdraw them. I tried setting up the wallet with my Trezor T before and had some issues. I have the password and all the keys but am just totally lost as to what to do. One on one help with this would be very much appreciated.
Hello new to tails/xmr if set up my initial wallet in advanced mode with the daemon does that mean I am running my own node? I’ve been spending so much time researching and getting frustrated trying to understand properly. I am not sure if only access that wallet via usb on bootable os do I need a separate USB to configure a node or is the daemon the same thing? I have a spare 128gb usb I could use but I can’t find reliable answers. Thank you
Great video with clear directions. I am running the application within Ubuntu 20.04 new clean install however the GUI would not execute either way - double click or right click and Execute. Can you help with this issue?
You can also open the folder that the files are in in terminal and then type ./monero-wallet-gui. if that doesnt work theres probably an issue with your files
If you are setting up the wallet for the first time does it take too long to sync with Daemon? I can't be connected as I see you did from the first second you opened your new wallet, I mean it takes too long to sync with daemon and I click stop (I want to use local node).
If mining is paused by any means, can it be resumed? Suppose there is a power shortage and system, shuts down. When system turns on again, will it resume?
"Monero Blockchain is 80GB" so can we run this off of a 1-2TB external hard drive then, and just plug it in to sync every few weeks/whenever we want to transact without worrying about losing anything or it filling up the storage?
Hi. I have a trezor connected to GUI monero wallet. Everytime I want to sent monero out I get following message: Error: Can't create transaction: unexpected error: Call method failed any ideas?
thanks for the video. I have two questions is there a way to see the solo miner running on ubuntu like from the terminal? also. I have put my adress into minexmr and the adress exist but my worker isn't shown. Is this normal? I have been mining for a week at a decent hash rate around 1000 h/s
I have a video on linux mining as well. Take a look at that mining video and it might help you out. It sounds like something may be mis-configured in your config file. Monero support subreddit can also be of help! good luck my friend!
If anyone has any questions, PLEASE comment! I want to answer if I can and it will probably also help others!

Great video man, if i had a group of cpus mining, will you recommend solo mining or pool?
this video was incredibly helpful! I need to ask that what would be your recommendation to where to buy Monero?
Nice video. So, the GUI miner is automatically associated with the primary account and if the block is found it will be rewarded into that primary account/wallet?
nobody ever answers this question!
Thanks for the great content.
I have a question, if I have several computers do I install them all to mine solo? Can I create my own pool?

Is your Daemon shutting off when you start gui mining p2pool in update .18.1.0?
