I don't think Peter is mad, I think he's an idealist which is different from the other incarnations of Spiderman we've seen so far. He's also younger and hasn't lost nearly as much. Ok so here’s my take on this: So with Doc Ock, we see him appear at the bridge, he thinks he’s fighting Peter when he realises he isn’t, the scene where it shows us Doc absorbing Peters nano suit later on in the trailer is infact the same bridge battle, he absorbs it and when you see Doc locked up in that cell, notice his tentacles are red. I believe the nano suit allowed Octavius to retake control over the tentacles rather than them controlling him because he then seems to be on Peters side later on because : A. The scene where Electro blasts the building, it looks as tho he was attacking Dr Octavius which leads me to believe he’s fighting against Sinister Six but I could be wrong. B. If we go back to Spider Man 2, Ock regained control and wasn’t against Peter in the end which aligns with the timeline lapping straight into this one following on from the end of Spider Man 2 but within that timeline, Doc emerged into the MCU before he regained control over himself. As for Sandman, I believe he is from an earlier part of the timeline in Spider Man 3 because at the end of Spider Man 3, Peter forgave Sandman so Sandman emerging into MCU as a villain would explain he emerged from the timeline earlier. Now Ock refers to the guys as ghosts which tells me that they are indeed dead in their respective timeline but the multiverse allows them to exist in the MCU and each of them died respectively fighting their spider man in their timeline. Strange tells Peter that’s what happens and why they either need to be sent back to their timeline or killed again (because it’s fate) and Peter feels responsible and doesn’t want anyone to die which is why he asks Strange if there is another way goes against him as it would appear. I think there’s 2 Green Goblins too, there’s Norman Osbornes and Harry Osbornes because that scene we get with the glider and no mask, notice all the green goblin bombs (referencing back to spider man 3 where Harry tries to kill Peter before he hits his head and loses his memory) When MJ is falling from the scaffolding, I believe that’s been edited and that’s when Andrew Garfield comes in and saves MJ instead because of what happened to Stacy but it’s been edited to Tom Holland instead. If you look closely too when Peter is about to take on sandman, lizard and electro, notice (especially with lizard) he isn’t going directly after Peter which tells me that at this stage all 3 spider men are there and are taking on 1 villain each but have just been edited out for this trailer. As for Strange saying at the end they’re all coming through and I can’t stop it, that’s either to do with Andrew and Tobey coming through or the multiverse itself being unleashed which leads nicely into Doctor Strange next year As for Tom Hardys Venom, I believe he is in this too but not sure how it would fit in with it all and whether he works out to be another villain or maybe they make a cameo as we see for the end credits on Venom 2 as they now exist within that timeline as well

Hot take but I think Happy dies in the film. Calling it now. A, I think Favreau is done being in the films and more interested in moving towards focusing solely on the Star Wars stuff. B, his character would serve as a solid death to move the plot forward and leave lasting change WITHOUT actually causing any significant issues for future films as far as being an essential character for the movies.

You guys are one of the best reactions to this trailer I’ve seen (looking at others as well) I was going to replay your reactions when you kept replaying the trailer and I still enjoyed it, I saw six characters too when I watched the trailer. If the Spider verse is glitching then that has to mean that the other two (Toby and Andrew ) have to be in this. I was trying to determine whether Tom’s suit changed at any point so that I could confirm what I was thinking I think the previous Spider-Men had different spider suits.

Remember, this is a multiverse film, proven by Octopus saying that Peter isn't Peter, meaning his is different (Toby). Also, pay attention to Lizard at the bottom, jumping towards something else. In the Brazilian version of the trailer, he's getting hit by something invisible. Just like they edited the Infinity War trailer to include things not in the film, they could also have taken out the other 2 Spider-Man actors.

Black Suit is moving like Tobeys Spidey did and he's tall and Lanky. The shot of him from the side at sunset between the electrical towers is totally Toby's Spidey style of movement.
And you notice when Strange says visitors from other universes are showing up they don't show Electro. They show Black Suit Spiderman dodging Electros attack.
