I went and bought their new cd in the store which is old-school, I know, but an old-school band deserves it. After a week of listening through the album multiple times I can honestly say it is an excellent album... the new sound definitely grew on me. The lyric writing is Eve 6 all the way, and the new sound is combining their albums "Horrorscope" plus "It's all in your head" with some electronic sound thrown in for a modern twist. I really hope they make the charts.
I loved all of their old CDs and think that this one is awesome too. Be an open-minded listener, genre isn't everything. Their clever puns that Max Collins likes so much are still there and I think it's great. Can't wait to see them in Pittsburgh at the end of this month!

Eve6 has always considered themselves pop/rock. They never lied to you, they never strayed away from their genre. They are right where they always wanted to be. Stop being so grumpy about them. It's good music.

Like Horrorscope..there were definitely some upbeat songs there, but All in my Head was a lot about breaking up. Just because like 16 years after they first became a band, they decided to have some variety (especially having been broken up for so long) doesn't mean you have to bash them. If you don't like their music, don't listen to it.
I am seeing them tomorrow with All-American Rejects. I am so excited and all of their music is amazing. It is nice to know that they are releasing new music.

eve 6 is a great band i mean its 9 years since there last album so you could only expected an album that might sound similar to the last but its gunna sound more evolved, look at blink can't say they sold out from 2003 to 2011 they just matured as musicians. eve 6=10/10
