PUNGENT STENCH | Martin Schirenc | interview

A few years ago Schirenc plays PUNGENT STENCH played a concert in Katowice (Poland) where I had the opportunity to talk to Martin. He turned out to be a great interlocutor and I regretted that I had not thought to interview him. Fortunately, the opportunity for an interview arose last weekend. They played a concert at Injure Grind Attack Festival V in Morsko and we managed to talk before the show. PUNGENT STENCH was always the *real deal* for me… much more frightening and perverted than bands like CANNIBAL CORPSE, DEICIDE, etc. in the early/mid 90s.

Pamiętam do dziś jak kiedy zagrali na zakończenie Merciless East Festival 2004 (Chełm, lubelskie), to na bis był kawałek _La Bamba,_ po czym Martin wyruchał gitarę na scenie niczym Hendrix. Jest na moim kanale część koncertu gdyby ktoś chciał (ale niestety-a może na szczęście-bez owego bisu).
