Yo. I am thinking about going with Emerald Charts in October this year. I have dived all over, Bora Bora, Caribbean, Mexico etc....but, have not done any for about 15 years. SO, do I need to be an 'Advanced Diver' to see a shark dive ? I will be taking a Pool refresher before I come. I am PADI certified.
Hey! You are very experienced. That’s what they’re looking for. The a cert is more formality and for liability! However since you’ve been out of the water a while, you’d wanna get a few dives in before the shark dive. You’ll be fine. Hey, why not do get your advanced cert instead of a refresher so you’re fully prepared for the shark dive.. that’s what I’d do if I were in your shoes.
I dive with my own gear. I just rent tanks and weights. But in general, the price varies depending on what gear you need. For this particular dive, I encourage you to take all your gear (rentals or own) to the boact because the rental options by the boat may be limited.
these are the same sharks that have gotten so used to taking fish from humans, that when the commercial divers and spearos go out, the sharks come to take the fish from them and get put down with a powerhead. good shit. I love stabbing me some sharks but I enjoy them more from a distance
My dad was a cageless shark feeder I only did shark dive once but I feel scared to go on another dive
