I bought a ticket for the show at Bogart's in Cincinnati, Ohio where I live, and I might also go to see the tour a few weeks earlier in Louisville, Kentucky, as well.
Biff always seems like one of the kindest and most down to earth guys in metal, Saxon haven’t released a bad album yet and now with Brian on board this album could shape up to be really great
Listened to album 3 times in 2 days. Very good indeed. My favourite track is Supercharger. Have tickets for Glasgow gig..🤘 Now waiting for Priest album
Biff is saying that younger bands can get a chance to open for bands like Saxon, but the veteran Metal bands have done very little to give younger bands a leg up. It's usually their mates from the old days of Metal, their kids or safe commercial choices.
My grandparents would say hellfire and damnation in the early 70s here in the Rockies of the U.S. so definitely not just a British saying and I'm 58 myself...lol I saw Balck Star Riders, Saxon on the Judas Priest Firepower tour here in Salt Lake City, Utah.
@@MetalPilgrim I thoroughly enjoyed it. Your insightful and considered questions with Biff’s quintessentially Yorkshirean sincerity was a perfect match 🔥
Hell, Fire and Damnation vs Invincible Shield? well, to be fair Priest has only released 3 tracks (correct?) but if they're something representative of the whole than it's a slam-dunk for Saxon. PS: nice interview and Biff's living room looks very cozy!
Man found this off a bait headline saying he didn't think Amon Amarth was metal. 16:05 Pretty obvious after listening to him he was just referring to Ghost.
What do you think about the new SAXON song Hell, Fire and Damnation? Will you catch the band on their upcoming tour?
I can't wait for the album
Not this time but seen 20 times since 1979 yeah 🤘🤘🤘

Love the song, the riff is so bad ass! May have t catch this your, especially if Brian Tayler is with them!🤘🔥🎸🥁🎧
Might have the chance to see then in Louisville, I cannot wait!

Judas priest and Saxon together best tour of the year.

Great interview. Love Saxon.

What a new album!!! Great riffs, great songs.
Saxon can do no wrong at the moment , the new album is awesome! 👏🏻😃👌🏻👍🏻
Great artist
Got my Saxon tickets other day for May 10. They’ve got zero bad albums. Their one of the most consistent bands ever.
Very cool interview!!!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
You are a legend Biff

That's awesome! I had no idea this saying was popular!
I bought the album. I'm happy they're still going! I just listened to Lionhheart last night and had a blast! Ready to blast the new one!
Oh Man. Have do i love this Icon of Metal!!? I will see the Tour in Summer.
Be nice if Saxon came down to Australia
Always a good day when new Saxon hits the turntable. If this is anywhere near as good as Carpe Diem then it’s going to be a corker.
Fuck yeah! Cheers MP 🤘
Thanks! Hope you enjoyed the interview!

Awesome
Excellent interview! I really hope (for many reasons) that Saxon are able to do a show in Ukraine SOON!
Love how Saxon writes songs, lyrically superior to other bands style.
Saxon with Burning Witches would be awesome, and maybe Asomvel opening - hoping for some UK dates with that line-up 🤘
Will be there at their London concert(March 21st) with the Metal God himself(Rob Halford) and Uriah Heep!!🤟.

Fan - Fucking - Tastic!
SAXON # 1 HEAVY METAL BAND IN THE METAL UNIVERSE!!!!
would love to see LOVEBITES open up for a band like SAXON!!!
Btw, their collaboration with Amon Amarth are amazing! 🤘🇺🇦🇬🇧
Don’t forget Warhorse/Paul Dianno, Testament, Exodus, and Anthrax new albums this year.
🤘🏻😁

I love Saxon and Judas Priest fck Kiss and their sh*tty avatars
Has anyone told you you look like Ozzie's son?
Really? Wow, no one has told me haha
@@MetalPilgrimno one has ever said it before because you look nothing like him.
Boring, generic album. No surprise, the magic is gone long time ago.
