What’s with the Sonic E.X.E popping up everywhere?
The part where Eggman has E-104 throw the light speed dash shoes in the sewers reminds me of this scene of an action movie where the protagonist is forced to hide underground while he secretly avoids detection from above and below in order to escape.
This brings back a lot of times where I didn't realize what any of the jokes meant, but they were just funny.

I took a break on January. That's my reasoning.
Also the way he is faster is because if you use debug he was Put to always be in one spot ahead of the player. I've checked using debug and moved up and Eggman went with me. So basically He was coded to stay ahead of the player.
