I was test driving a jeep wrangler today. Drove up a hill in a neighborhood. Not knowing anything about 4wd i put it into 4wd high to test it up the hill. Didnt know you wernt supposed to do that. Went to turn around in a coldesac (sharp right turn in 4wd) and the right wheel churped or skipped. Did this twice before i took it out of 4wd. Thankfully i was basically at a stop and turning very slow and stopped after about 3 chirps both times. I didnt know you wernt supposed to do that. After i took it outta 4wd it drove just fine. I hope i didnt ruin anything as i really want to purchase this jeep....its a 2018 wrangler sport s. Would love some feedback....thank you for the great video.
4 hi should be fine, it only sends power to the front wheels when needed. you can use 4hi on pavement. I wouldn't use 4low on pavement, but a few times shouldn't hurt anything.
Very informative video. I think most of us never utilize most of the characteristics of our vehicles. I don't use some, because I feel I don't know enough about them, and don't want to do something wrong. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful! Most of the time out on the roads, nothing will be used so it's always good to at least get off the pavement to run though 4wd every so often!
Hey! Really enjoyed this video! Thanks for the tips and advice. Some of the things you mentioned I already knew about, but never fully knew about 4high and low etc!! I reckon it would be super cool to do a proper off road trail in a 4x4!! One last thing, what mode would you recommend for driving in snow or ice?
It's definitely a lot of fun taking them offroad and seeing what they can do! In the snow or ice, I would use 4 high. That's what I've done in the past and it just gives you more traction when you need it from the front tires!
Depends on if it's a first bike for you. The R3 is a great beginner, it's light weight and very maneuverable, the MT10 is a 1,000cc bike, it's got some torque to it. We did a review on an MT09 if you want to check that out. ua-cam.com/video/k9qWVN5aqc4/v-deo.html
Thanks for the video! Something worth pointing out though - the official Mopar video on the wrangler’s transfer case says you must be slowly rolling to shift into 4L, not stopped
Bro... you are not even driving. You are not on an 4x4 trial. You are just showing videos You have found on the internet. But it seems you have no experience. Sorry.
You didn’t see all the clips I had filmed offroad for this video? Been off-roading for over 10 years now, I have plenty of experience. Also there are several off-roading videos on our channel with multiple vehicles to watch.

Just the shots of that beautiful Uhwarrie speaks volumes. Seems like you enjoyed the off roading in that area just as much as the Taco.
Oh yeah! We actually had them there at the same time! Can't wait to go back with some better tires!
Nice tips! Thank you bros fourr speed
No problem 👍

Going for that mall crawler ride lol!
What shifter do you put on to drive regular on highway or on street
The shifter on the left should be all the way up into 2H for regular driving!
Ey what do you sudgest the yamaha r3 or yamaha mt10

Nice! It's a lot of fun! Can't wait for some better tires to see how mine does next time!

Can you share that? You have to be stopped to engage 4 low, otherwise it won’t work or engage.
Good
Thanks for checking out the video!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed :) as always. I also say even awd cars shouldn't be lowered more than 1 inch.
Yeah that would be a good stance for them!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed it just messes up the whole geometry.
