This looks soooo good! I wanted to paint a closet door in my hallway like this and in researching the internet for a diy video, THIS one is the best! Thank you!
My husband and I will be painting our teenager's bedroom door with her tomorrow! This video was a big help, and fun to watch. Fortunately, my kid's door already has panels, so we don't have to paint them in.
So I did something a bit similar. I didn’t paint more door tho. So what I did was I have a big role of paper at home and it’s a big size so I measured my bedroom door and made up some measurements for the windows and panels and had two long panels for each “door” and I no joke used crayons (I killed about 7 of them) coloring in each piece. For each panel I simply used a black crayon to trace to show each panel and printed off the PULL TO OPEN sign on the door. I made the 2010-2017 TARDIS so I also printed the St. John’s sign and placed that on there as well. So the doors in my house have a wood trim, they’re just simple wood strips a couple inches wide, around all the doors. And about each bedroom door is a vent system. So to make my TARDIS door look cooler was I color strips of paper to cover the wood trim and the roof was added above my bedroom door. The POLICE BOX sign was also colored and I made it so when it’s dark in the house and my light is on the POLICE BOX sign lights up so you can see it. (My room is at the end of the hall so you can see it from the living room) To finish it all off I my a light and attached it. So my whole door is the TARDIS doors with the surrounding area made to look like the rest of the Police Box to give it a more realistic look. Now again I drew it all on paper and colored it with crayon. And everything was taped on so when I move out I can take it with me. Or I can even change the TARDIS doors to look like a different era TARDIS instead.
Well it's very simple, you see. Transdimensional engineering is based on the principle of the same object in different areas at the same time. A key Timelord discovery, no Tardis would be able to operate without it.
That turned out better than I imagined. Thanks for showing how you did all the details to make it look so good.
