no words do this musical formation justice. the grandeur, the soundscape, the dignity, the wisdom, the everlasting, the meaning and elegance this band was and is able to capture and channel are just incredible.
In the 60s, 70s and 80s there was a generation or maybe two generations of singers who confidently leaned into a beautiful lyricism in their singing voices. Scott McKenzie and Gordon Lightfoot had it as well. And I melt like butter when I listen to it.
This is a an epic live performance of one of the band's greatest tracks. I saw them perform this live myself in 1987 , but I think this version is even better.
