This was absolutely awesome. I have never this photo before which made it better. You guys are doing such a good job using technology to make this topic more interesting. I hope it reaches new ppl!
Awesome video. I used to live in the Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania area and passed that church many times. Fantastic concentration of battlefields in that area. I used to hike in the Spotsylvania battlefield several days a week since I lived about 3 miles away.
Wow, fantastic! I've been there and walked through the site but the church was closed at the time. This 360° presentation with the view from above tops off the one from my casual walk through. Thank for putting this up on UA-cam.
Timothy O'Sullivan's photos are incredible, and this 360 degree video really makes it feel like I'm right there with them. Thank you, Garry and Kris, for an amazing video and commentary.
History is so important, and this channel is the best for bringing it to life in an informative and accurate manner! Thanks for this wonderful video! God bless all of you!
The Union had an abundance of staff officers. What would a comparable scene from the ANV look like? Lee with Longstreet looking over a map, with Moxley Sorrell nearby? AP Hill unaccounted for?
There are two photographs that are memorable to me. Ok technically this is a three photo series but these fascinate me. The other single photo of of the three Confederate captive in Gettysburg.
The 360 thing is kind of annoying. Everything is constantly off center and I have to keep adjusting it instead of being able to pay attention to the content.
360° footage is great but I had to stop watching because the only thing I could see is a black screen and I couldn't turn around and watch while laying in bed
Enjoy the 360° version of our new "Step Into History" installment! For the best experience, make sure the video quality is set to 2160p.
Love the 360deg version. Makes it so much more like we’re there the best we can be.

to me this is the best series of photos of the whole war

Woah so cool the extra immersion you guys do.
Fantastic photos that almost put you in Grant's Civil War camp.
Timothy O'Sullivan is the hero of these photos. Gary and Kriss were great interpreters.
You never know when you're going to be a hero!
Lots of luck was involved with those slow cameras but O'Sullivan was an experienced photographer and could make his own luck.

I have seen that photo many times. Gary and Kris captured the drama of that moment in history. Well done gentlemen.
Incredible work! Thanks for breaking down this amazing photo in new ways!
Thank You Guys for Your Love of our Country 🤟

😂. I’ll add Lenny Kravitz!
This is so neat!

It's not for everyone. Feel free to stick with the 16x9 version.
I just realized that I can’t see more as I move my ipad around while watching this video!
That gave me Dyslexia. Too confusing to watch on a cell phone.
