Mdou Moctar is probably my favorite modern guitarist, Ilana: The Creator is still my favorite of his two albums but they are both great. If you feel inclined to listen to more I would recommend Tarhatazed. KEXP is great but this concert in Niger is full of great energy from the crowd - who didn't even plan to show up they all just heard the band playing and a crowd formed.
