I love the way it looks. Especially the Trailhunter.
Totally agree. I think this is WAY overstyled and they should have done less on the exterior. Land Cruiser looks MUCH better in my opinion, but that raised floor in the back because of the hybrid components kills it for me. These vehicles all need the ability to have the seats fold down flat fo fit more cargo, or to camp in. Find another place to stick the batteries.

To me this feels less worked than the previous gen that was just trying so hard. I like the face. Still deciding on profile. But seeing it side by side with the Land Cruiser it’s no contest for me. LC all day. Great video.
Sorry to mention that you dislike the boxy look to the 6th Gen. 4Runner. But I think it’s amazing for the overall look of it.
I don't think it's boxy, I think it's lines and crease on lines and crease. I wish it were more subdued and more boxy. I love boxy SUVs.
I was never a fan of the gaping maw of the current 4Runner, so the new one looks better. The gloss-black fender flares seem like a misstep; keep it consistent with the camo pattern like with the rest of the PROs. The Toyota badging on the dash is begging for a Dremel solution that mares an otherwise good looking dash.
Can't wait to see it with a proper front bumper and the 18 layers of plastic placed gently but firmly in the garbage.
I would rather have the 4Runner. It's cheaper. It doesn't need a third row seat(you have the Highlander and Grand Highlander for that). The Land Cruiser is the wrong size. It needs to be fullsize like the Lexus LX600. It doesn't need to be a hybrid only.
This isnt over styled. Sorry you like bland boring boxes.
There's like 5 different lines cut into that fender. That's HEAVILY overstyled. Also, boxy doesn't mean boring. The Defender, G-Wagen, GX 550, Land Cruiser, all would like a word with you.
