The posters and trailers gave a heavy impression of us fighting venom in the streets and buildings. I was shocked when that didnt happen. This reminds of the trailer for the first game of peter running through a coffee shop in the trailer but never happened in the game haha.
This makes me very mad that we missed this version of the game.
i really thought we were gonna have multiple venom bossfights considering he was supposed to be the most dangerous threat he's ever faced
It's funny how some people wanna say insomniac fell off but the things shown in leaks say otherwise, the final product just proves SONY need to hop off insomniac meat and let them work if it wasn't for sony this game be way better then what we got

As someone who enjoys shitting on Sony, keep it a buck insomniac fumbled. Sony gave them half a decade and a movie level budget and Intihar pretty much wasted it on levels nobody asked for
This is like a teacher assigning students a project to complete and one student goofs around and procrastinates and doesn’t complete the project by the due date. The student asks for more time and the teacher says no. Who’s at fault here the student or the teacher?
I don’t understand why majority of the gaming community can be straightforward and critical of literally every other gaming company except for insomniac
@@morris01 dawg sony scrapped everything they worked on this whole thing you see insomniac was planning until sony came in and changed everything and yes the teacher is at fault because the student has to go through long hard hours of game development and when they ask for more time to get it done for us fans the teacher should listen and delay it, you need to realize certain projects need to be delayed to be better and that is ok not everything can be completed in like 2 or 3 years
And with that change insomniac couldn't oush out so much quality with so little time and sony wouldn't delay the game either so it's definitely sony fault insomniac should be taking no blame for doing there job especially since there a company owned by another company(sony) whatever sony ssids goes so it's really all there fault.
It's not the fact people can't be critical of insomniac it's the fact it wasn't insomniac fault and knowing sony it makes complete sense to blame them especially since again they scrapped insomniac original plan

When I played a hunter hideout mission as symbiote Spiderman, I threw a turret at a building and the wall completely vanished. After finishing the mission it was like that and I walked through it took a screen shot at all
My thoughts are simple I agree that's the sad fact is we should get a director's cut of this game
If we can campaign for it not in a toxic way I think it would be great because...
Honestly it would probably fix a lot of the problems I know the idea of a director's cut is usually for to get more money but in this case

Think it was meant as a random event like car chases cause that's what it looked like in the trailer. A fight with venom in the streets as Peter or Miles before they got the stone.
The game is still good but damn this shit would’ve been so cool like why did they have to cut out this this would’ve been a better venom boss fight than the one we got
Hopfully insomniac put this in Venom's solo game somehow

Makes me so mad & dissapointed that we didnt get this version in game. All because of sony, its no wonder the game was rushed.
In my opinion, it wasn't a kinda of big deal, the actual boss fight we got was way better. But i wished we got a chase mission against Venom, where he would destroy the whole city on his path. + the destruction physic are present in game, enemies can sometimes destroy walls of building and you can enter them.

The sweet baby inc touch of death, the only reason why this game didn’t close a studio down is due to Spider-Man being as big as it is and the mechanics plus suits
The mid town High, Emily May boss was Thematically better for the game.. while this boss battle would of been cool, for story reasons the boss we got is perfect
Not to mention the first phase is a reference to the ultimate Spiderman and how that game had its venom boss on the midtown football field
I hope they add this feature in the next game cause this makes the game look badass🔥🔥🔥🔥
The game’s half baked. It wasn’t a good sequel to the original or Miles game. I’m still baffled by what they chose to cut from the game.

They changed a bunch of stuff. Not sure if it’s because I’m low standard but the trailer showed Pete calling Miles with real serious tone but in the game, we can’t even see Pete interact with Miles with his new personality. But also they didn’t even let us have the ability to change to the symbiote suits like in Web Of Shadows without going OP and they removed the fucking transition animation in the Connors chase scene.
False advertising from Insomniac when they had us believe all this cuz of the cinematic be greater together trailer

@@Ghostrobo1011 what happens in climactics are never 100% of everything involved so it isn't false advertisement its not a trailer of a gameplay its a climactic which is completely different from in game.
Also you said "we thought we could fight venom through out the city" so that's a you problem doesn't make it false advertisement because everything in the climactic isn't in game. I get you wanted better but calling it false advertisement is just false

@@hammer-0 whatever happens in cinematic trailers are definitely an indication of something we’ll get in the actual game. And majority of people feel underwhelmed with the final boss and second half of the game. Heck, even the director, Brian Intihar mentioned in a podcast that he was devastated cuz he knew the second half of the game didn’t meet the standards of the studio.
There was a poll saying which game series had better boss fights and I voted GOW over spider man 2 because it didn’t have the environmental damage.
While it definitely would’ve been cool, I can see why it was cut. If certain crimes have destructible environments then it would feel weird to return to places where a wall was destroyed like 5 minutes ago and it’s suddenly fixed.
A Venom fight in the streets with destructible environments as part of the last mission definitely would’ve been cool though. But I’m sure there had to have been a good reason. The people working on these games have a lot of love for the character and world they’re building. And they still gave us a bunch of new mechanics

It's good but it was forced out to fast if Sony let insomniac keep developing it we would have got the game but 10 times better
I would've rather had the game delayed and be up to par with what I was expecting to happen based on how insomniacs reputation for how they broke the mold in the past, rather than the rushed shat we got

This is much better than the stupid Gothic Vampire Venom with Red Wings that we got.
I also really like the destructible environments and knockback damage.
Web of Shadows did it right 16 years ago.
Spider-Man being hit back and having objects get damaged because of knockback force makes fights more indulging.
These kinds of minor immersive animations is what marks the evolution of games. Why does a 16 year old game, released 2 video game console generations ago has better animations in almost every aspect?
There is just no excuse for this.

@@Salvage1009 Yeah,more time definitely but like,the environment damage is cool it's just that I'm not sure how it's a game changer. And the Venom boss fight we have is bigger in scale,which is usually what these games go for with final bosses. It's also difficult.
