I have one of these radios that was converted to the 50mhz amateur band, it's a bit of a rats nest with the mods, they retuned it by adding capacitors to the coils to make them resonate on 50mhz. The reciever on it is brilliant especially when there is some sporadic E about!!.
This is what used to put me off buying these radios screwdriver merchants but now we've got you and a few other good enginners to fix them well done sir you've pulled it off again top video as always mate
