January 9, 2015 - Colorado Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Class of 2014. Paramount Theatre - Denver, CO. From left: Rusty Young, Paul Cotton, Richie Furay, Timothy B. Schmit
Paul Cotton and Rusty Young Country Rock and Roll Guitar Gods! They got my vote! I've loved Paul Cotton since I was 14 years young. Thanks for posting. Kimie :)
Might be forty plus years lads you sang this but here in Camelford Cornwall we are still playing this song,Paul Cotton all I can say ,what a guitar player.
Poco started the country-rock Genre back when I was still a teenager. Their harmonies and music has always been a thing of beauty. The Eagles had a habit of stealing bass players from this band (Randy Meisner & Timothy B. Schmit) LOL. They belong in the RORHOF for their pioneering efforts in this genre of music. Thanks for posting BobAbout What. Peace
Dylan is often credited with initiating the country-rock genre; check out "You Ain't Going Nowhere" (the Byrds quickly recorded it). The Byrds and Burritos launced into it full-blast. Thanks to them all.
I readwhat you said and I had to look twice because I thought it was one of my posts. So true. The STone Canyon Band was great outfit. Hats off to old Ricky Nelson wherever he is tonight.
@@TABarnhart Gram Parson’s was on the Byrds Sweetheart of the Rodeo album. The Byrds will tell you he was a driving force on that album. Yes, he was an important pioneer of this genre.
My favorite version of this lovely song. That two-step rhythym really adds something to it. Plus imagining that the little one that Richie's daughter is carrying is clapping and dancing along with her (3:20)!
This song always gives me the chills when I hear it.
Poco never received their just due thay were the beginning of country rock rusty & paul rip,
Timothy Schmidt is the sound of the Eagles. His time with Poco is proof enough.
I can listen to Paul Cotton play that gorgeous Gretsch all day and all night!
Thank you, Rusty Young for this beautiful song! Rest in peace, Sir! 😪❤️🙏
Poco, one of the most loved bands in the world
Rest In Peace Rusty!! You are greatly missed!!
RIP Paul Cotton and Rusty Young.
Their music sent me to colorado and I'm now 69 y.o. and still here. Thank you gentlemen so much. RIP Rusty and Paul.
They still got it !
Tim has the voice of an angel.
The song is great today as it was way back When they first released this song ....

and Timothy's voice!
Poco didn't have the same success as the Eagles, Birds, etc but I would argue that their time wasn't any less important or significant.
I love you Timothy. So pretty is your melody,
Oh, hell yes! I love this band!
Didn't think I'd cry....
I saw these guys in 1976 in Kalamazoo, they opened for America.
Oh to have been there to see and listen to this.....
Luv this song; what memories.

The Flying Burrito Brothers and The Byrds with their Sweetheart Of The Rodeo album came before Poco, remember.

Gram Parsons. ridiculous he wasn't in years ago.

Five part harmony. You don't get that in rock any more...
Really only 2 parts.
The band originals get older and older and Timothy B. (Don’t for get the b!) looks more and more the seasoned rocker.
Coco's one of my favorite bands of all time so many other bands spawned off of them what are huge circle of talent
Very excellent - thanks for doing/sharing! All the best!
EL COUNTRY ROCK MUCHOS AÑOS SIN ESCUCHARLA TOTAL ME QUEDO SIN PALABRAS UN HIMNO PARA LA GENERACION DE LOS 60~
Inolvidable Poco.
Yeah, was thinking the same thing?

Esta canción es una belleza
Greatest American band there ever was.
💖
This is great, but I would love to hear the official professional recording of this, so that the mandolin & banjo would be audible.

❤️❤️❤️
No, Barbara, I'm sorry I didn't have the storage memory to capture the induction.
Tim forgot he was playing bass too!
Any chance you posted the actual induction ceremony when they were handed the award? Thanks for sharing, very much!!
Who's the girl on the right? Her voice is strong on stage for not having been a part of the traditional lineup.
She is Richey Furay's daughter.
Now Rusty Young and Paul Cotton gone.
Who are the Eagles? They could never do this!! 😅
No Randy Meisner?
I read that these members had actually lived in Colorado, that's why they were chosen.
Timothy B replaced Meisner when he left for the Eagles.
Sorry. There’s only Timothy capable of singing in tune!
Yes, age is not kind....and getting into Hall of Fame takes decades. Have a look at Stevie Nicks when she got in....decades past her best.
