- We always wanted to play this song in front of a castle. This is an original piece, called “The Lone Wanderer” off of our album “New Beginning”.
This beautiful castle we stumbled upon in Kilkenny, Ireland.

I can see this beautiful tune as the Theme Song of a Medieval movie
That was the idea behind the song. I wrote it when I was travelling through Ireland and Scotland with all the mediaeval architecture around.

Beautiful. It reminds me: I stayed at a castle once, outside Galway. One day Paddy Keenan, best Irish piper of his time, rehearsed for a performance for over an hour, accompanied by the castle hotel manager, who was good enough to complement Paddy. It was in the castle's great room, one of those rooms where you could walk into the fireplace with plenty of head clearance. Where there were several living room arrangements within its four walls. Just after a full Irish breakfast. Could you get happier than that? Well, listening to Cascade comes close. The uilleann pipes were the Chapman sticks of its time.
What a great story! We shot this video just outside the castle in Kilkenny.

Mark & Steffi, we love your music since we saw you performing live at Lake Constance for the first time, it was May 6th in Lindau and May 8th in Constance. In the meantime we own all your records. To enrich our private travel videos with suitable music, we have been looking for suitable instrumental music for a long time. When we heard the music you play on your Chapman sticks, it was immediately clear to us that your music is ideally suited for this. In the meantime, we have watched with great pleasure almost all of your UA-cam clips, including the one you played in front of the cathedral in our hometown of Munich. Maybe we will see you both live again, wherever you will play your fantastic music on your sticks, we are looking forward to it.
