when I was younger some guy actually asked me to get in his car, luckily I was like 5 houses away from my house, I didn't think much of it at the time since I was young, I just told the guy ”I'm good my house is right there” he's like ur sure? and I'm like yea I'm good, then he drives off, who knows what he might have done to me
@@skidamerica I was saved from kidnap aged 8 by a neighbor who lived on my street, the grandmother of a good friend. Two strangers were walking me away from outside school, both well dressed adults two men, who a woman across the street who seemed to be 'with' them. They were leading me to a car, I think I was naive and childlike. She intervened and said 'you can't take him. Who are you?' They refused to identify themselves, or name my parents but said they knew them. But they didn't know their names. There was an altercation because she wouldn't let them put me in the car aiming away from my area. After some argument they panicked got cold feet and sped off at break neck speed, only stopping to let the woman in and then bolted down the road waaaay over the speed limit. Who knows?????
Im from boston and i was 10 years old when this movie came out didn't watch untill i was 12 ....movie traumatized me especially having a friend who went missing as a kid
I noticed how their names are written in the cement, Dave’s is the only one not finished. He never finished anything, even his life. And he was innocent.
I had a guy approach me in the library, he looked up, saw my brother and took off out of the building; mid to late 20s, brown hair, clean shaven, maybe 6 feet tall. I'll never forget that; how he took off when he saw my brother. wild.
Someone tried to kidnap me in a similar way around 1979. I was walking to school from daycare with two friends and someone approached us and said that he was locked out of his car, but could still open the passenger side door about a foot or so but the car was parked next to a tree so it only opened about a foot or so and he needed one of us to squeeze in and unlock the car for him. We ran and told the crossing guard who did NOTHING. She told us to keep waking to school. I told my teacher at school and she didn't do anything either. It all feels like a setup now, because this is the same time that my sister and I were befriended by a CIA family. The CIA dad killed himself in 1988 and the CIA son that I was friends with killed himself in 2005.
He's wearing a clergy ring which implies he's a clergyman but if you watch the film you know Dave was abused for a few days before he escaped and was traumatized by the experience.

That happened to me also when I was around 10-12 yrs old; I managed to walk away from the situation and got home safe.
@@edaxsachorwzky8898 it's wild out here
It’s happened to a lot of us. There are worse plagues than Covid out there

This scene made me feel uncomfortable. Why didn't they just run away :( I would have run I guess it was more trusting times back then.
I would've took off running...poor Dave...
You wouldn’t have. That’s the thing :/
Predators know who they can victimize.
This is a great movie but so hard to watch!!! Great acting!! Especially Sean
Boston accents are hard to do if you're not from Boston. I think Kevin Bacon does a better job with it.

Pay attention this is Boston and look what movie was made recently made "Spotlight " about Catholic Church in Boston.
It all ties in.
I live close by this scene :/
0:01 Reminds of Clerks 1994.
Fucking Rawls lol
So wait… the old guy at the front turning around immediately implies assault on the young boy? It’s suggested more than than anything

@ yeah I remember there is more and Dave says “no more” pleading with them. Shocking stuff

we can when someone asked us to get in a car
Kings Calling...good expose; however, it's hard to read bad grammar, spelling, non-editing.
Wow soo old
Buddy has a Masonic ring
No, he doesn't. It's just a cross, not a square & compass. There are many masonic symbols, but none of them are just a simple crucifix.
Over rated movie
