- Time for beverage and a book! Join me as we page through Minden Games' U-Boat Captain: Solitaire WW2 Wargame. This is the Advanced Edition and I believe the original edition was included in PANZERSCHRECK #19. There are several WWII subcommander games on the market; however, this one provides some of the same feel with less of the fuss.

I just made a spreadsheet for the data on each sub, general game charts and, imported a general map of the N. Atlantic with the proper labels I added to the spreadsheet. It works.

Just finished listening to the overview this morning, hope Gary Graber will port it to Pacific - somehow I just can't force myself to be a U-Boat commander but I don't have the same qualms about switching to US subs...
Wargame book? It's almost as bad as miniature rules. Speaking on the subject, have you tried Battleship Captain by Minden?😁
No, have you? If so, how is it? Minden has several “different” naval games/rules/sets and I should explore the differences at some point.
@@KWHgames Not yet, planning to get around to it too, but hard to justify more naval games purchases if I have General Quarters 3, Naval Thunder and War at Sea all sitting unplayed on my shelf... Glad I'm into naval again though, just got Lepanto 1571 setup on the table, with War Galley module coming next😁
