I never knew Kristen Bell was such a talented singer!!
I think she might have surprised quite few.

Kristen sounds amazing singing "For The First Time In Forever" (my favorite song from the movie, way better than the much overrated "Let It Go" imo) and in the reprise as well. Her general dubbing of Anna is awesome too, she really suits the character perfectly! :)
Didrick Namtvedt I love First time in Forever too, because it's upbeat, yet very complex at the same time. Anna's excitement about Elsa's coronation to the throne, Elsa worrying about her ice magic erupting, and the reprise is very genuine, which touches the complexity of Elsa's psyche and how she doesn't want to hurt anybody, yet Anna refuses to give up on her. That song is cute yet very powerful, and that why it appeals to me too
This is the first disney movie where the girl saves the girl.
But Mulan saved all of China...

BUT Merida saved her mom in Brave. So it's not the first time girl saves girl.

This is why Anna is my favorite because I can relate to her awkwardness and weirdness. She's probably the most human-like Disney character yet, I love her!

Elsa didnt run away because she was embarrassed. She ran away because she was scared, terribly afraid and she was taught growing up to hide it cuz people wouldn't understand and be afraid

I can't believe what a great voice she has.
I loved and enjoyed the storyline. I agree w/ her statement that Disney did a sharp left turn because they did not concentrate about finding love between a prince and princess. It is great that Disney portrayed the love between family/siblings. It is a great message to young viewers. They get to understand that love for your family is the biggest love of all.

I don't think she knows Elsa's character well.. She didn't run away out of embarrassment, she ran away thinking all would be fine, but she set off a winter of eternity upon Erendale. But she captured Anna's personality very well. I like the true love going into the family side too, there were many twists I didn't expect in the movie.
I was so happy they did that twist. I was hoping it wouldn't be another typical true love's kiss sort of deal, and I got that. People in the theater were confused for a second because they didn't expect it.

I nearly had a heart attack when I found out she was going to be a part of this movie... I KNEW it would be a favorite before I even saw it. The premise was new and it was just too wonderful, and adding Kristen Bell to the mix just HURDLED it over the top.
I can't get enough of the movie and the soundtrack. I'm officially obsessed.

7:57 - As a viewer I second that. Watching the movie felt like watching cut scenes from Uncharted where the VAs also did mocap! It's as if the VAs where sitting next to each other at all times!
And kudos to the animators for translating the mannerisms of the VAs into life-like, seemingly spontaneous facial expressions. The characters really did seem alive.

Okay, I kinda hate how everyone loves Frozen because it's not really about romance, but is more about family love, claiming that it's a big change for Disney. Does literally no one remember Brave? The love between Merida and her mother was so much more effective...
I think Frozen is just more heavily advertised so more people know about it than Brave. Both movies were great.
JustCommentOkay i think that the setting takes part for people's interest. We often see the princess movie in forest, castle, and somewhere else. But frozen shows a different place. And magical power that elsa has make this movie more interesting.
Brave is Pixar. Brave sucks.

It's because Brave was advertised as more Pixar than Disney, Pixar's first princess and all that while Frozen is basically all Disney (advertising wise)

This is the first time ( maybe ) the hero/heroine in this story tried to save everyone but she was saved by other people. Weird.
Anna saved Elsa from getting slayed by Hans. :) She also taught Elsa what love was [her journey] so they could thaw the land. Remember that Elsa couldn't thaw the land without Annas help.
