- Did you know there was an animal herding simulator? Of course there is! Luckily for us, it's on the Playstation 2. On Beating EVERY PS2 Game, we beat game #46, Herdy Gerdy. Can I make it through terrible frame drops, weird mechanics, and 240p resolution? Maybe, just maybe.

I remember playing this game with my younger brother. We had a PS2 at our grandma's house, I remember we played the SHIT out herdy gerdy, cel damage and crash bandicoot racing; we sucked at all of it and I remember with herdy gerdy specifically we got lost or confused so easily. Those were the days...
So awesome! This game is so easy to get turned around or lost in, I completely understand
I’m hard of hearing. So everytime you say “herding,” I hear “hurting.” So imagine my shock when I hear “hurting animals.
Oh god! I would never hurt them, even the stupidest of doops!
Love your work keep it up mate
Thanks dude I really appreciate it!
Thank you for playing my favorite PS2 game! It is such a weird little thing, but it has a certain charm!
Yeah absolutely! What a weird, cool game
You born in 2000
Me born in 1980...but 2000 was a couple years ago, right
Haha it feels like it! I remember when the ps2 was released like it was only a few years ago, I can’t believe it’s been 20 years
your videos are super well edited and i love the description of the games, keep this up man pls! i look forward to the warriors, urban reign, timesplitters, and many more
Thank you so much! Oh yeah so many good ones coming up! I definitely need the warriors
Some characters, like Gerdy’s grandmother, also remind me of Hayao Miyazaki’s elderly characters. Plus that four armed guy does look like he came from an RPG, or a Miyazaki movie.
Also, you sound like Jack Black.
I have to agree with you there, they bear a striking resemblance to Miyazaki’s designs!
Also really? I never knew! I did start to suspect something when I would wake up singing tribute…
I had this game for some reason when I was younger, I didn't even get past any levels and just messed around in the starting areas. I was too weirded out by the game honestly.
Haha I can understand, it’s a bizarre game. Glad I finally got to beat it!
There's a talking PS2.
I’ve always been a ps2, I was just using ai to look human!
Dark cloud is a ps2 game that Changed gaming and was way ahead of its time. Should play it
Ah yes, I beat number 2 just before this one, and soon I’ll play the first! It was a cool game!
@PS2orDie the 2nd one is brilliant, the georama mechanic was cool in that game
ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy HERDY GERDY crazy
So crazy man!
im binge watching all you vids over 30 mins keep going!!
Will do, thanks!
played this game as a kid and its an inspiration for my own game. I loved it
No way! I would love to play a game inspired by this one!
Was originally supposed to be for the Dreamcast. But the system couldn't handle the large, open environments.
What!? I didn’t even realize that! Well, that makes sense, the ps2 was barely able to as well but mostly because of optimization. Probably never would have been optimized enough…
@@PS2orDie There was quite a lot of cut content as well. Like a Bee Hive level that was fucking huge from what I remember. It was going to have a boss fight as well.
@@bouncingbluesoul5270 I recently watched a cut content video that showed some screenshots in a beehive! My sister and I were sad it was cut but, it happens
This Game is My Childhood
No way! Well this game was really cool. What’s your favorite thing about it?
That's the darndest thing. Two nights ago I was on the toilet flipping through an old gaming magazine from 2001 and saw this game in their preview section. For a very long time I thought this game never came out but I guess I was wrong.
No way! That’s so cool though, this game is so hard to find not even because it’s rare, just not very popular. Glad that mystery was solved!
I’ve also been looking through a lot of PS2 magazines from late 2001 to early 2002, so I see promotions for this game in a lot of different publications. I was curious what it was like, and this video was a great explanation. Looking forward to future videos.
