This is the place where Allah punished them komee somood and Prophet Muhammad PBUH said try to be away from this area and also said if you walk near from this place down your head and pray Allah that He not send Punish on you like He send before many peoples and destroy them and also Prophet said don't go inside houses of konee somood if you want to be save and not want punishment. Allah protect us from evil ways and guide us a Right Path Ameen. Don't visit Alula place

The original Muslim sites in Mecca and Medina should have been preserved like Al Ula. Instead, the royal family allowed the religious fundamentalists free reign to destroy those important historical and archeological areas. Those sites don't belong to Saudi Arabia alone, they belong to all Muslims but they've been stolen from future generations.

@@rayanal-juhani3702 How can you see the exact opposite in Mecca or Medina when buildings, graves and other sites belonging to the first Muslims were deliberately blown up?? Other than the Great Mosque, so many historical places have been destroyed and it's still ongoing.

As for Saudi Arabia, its sanctities, and its lands belong to its people since the time of the Companions and the Followers, do not confuse matters with the issue of destroying the Islamic heritage. Rather, the trees and graves that associate with God, may He be glorified and exalted, have been removed.
Muslims arent even allowed to visit this place according to islam. Im surprised how many arabs are accepting of it. The prophet warned us from this place.
So let me get my head around this, as a country you destroy your rich Islamic Heritage, Culture and History but preserve and promote random desert rock and valleys? Bravo
Crazy right?!? The historical and archeological sites in Mecca and Medina should have been protected, not destroyed by religious fanatics. The govt could have allowed only Muslim scientists, scholars and researchers into those sites but destroying them is no different than what Daesh did to the ancient sites in Syria and Iraq.

@@azizm8248 Where in my comment did I say anything about who or what anyone worships? Nowhere. I agreed with the original comment that the destruction of early Muslim sites, some still ongoing, is terrible. The historical and archeological loss is immeasurable.
