As a console player, it’s sad to hear that we’ll be lagging behind the PC release, but good to know they’re still trying
Yeah, it's definitely disappointing. I was hoping they would make the console release coincide with the main PC release. It is great to know they're working on it, but I hope we don't have to wait another year for it.
The thing is, it's more of a legal thing of getting approved by the consoles. Deep rock galactic often goes through two or three weeks extra for consoles because the update has to be approved first.
OK...
so just like space engineers the console release will be worked on until its actually good quality instead of releasing a half arsed port.
As someone who has a series X, I am excited to actually play this game as it looks really fun and satisfying.
Just remember, needing to wait for a game to be ported over is actually a good thing... space engineers eventually released after years of work as they didn't want it to release broken.
Sure when it dropped it was... well it had its issues.
But since then? It's been fixed, optimised and mod support was eventually added.
So I can't wait, but also can wait as I know it takes time.
No, no no no, I dont think there is enough content, the game doesn’t feel that close to being finished
They could certainly add a few more things, and apparently they plan to do so, following the release. But I for one am quite happy with the game the way it is. Especially for that price. I'll wait and see what happens when the update arrives.
Oh great I just started the game. Now I don’t want to start because of the campaign reset. Welp. Perhaps I’ll go with the chill free shift mode afterwards
Good luck on the PC
Thanks, Daniel. Fingers crossed.
Keep in mind, you only need one kidney😂 Jk jk Best of luck with the house move and pc my friend!
Thanks, buddy. 😊
I have not played, but a thought came to mind. As you tear it apart you find "evidence" of where this ship has been, what it was doing. Slowly you gather evidence with the ability to blackmail lynks for money or to release you, not a main quest but an optional one. Is this game mod friendly?
I don't believe lynx corporation has anything to do with the ships previous life; seems to be a strictly salvage/reselling firm. Otherwise an actually fantastic idea.
@@SmertDaBaus I think some of the ships were previously owned by LYNX, so it could be worked into the story. You can see the previous owner when picking the ship.
3:27 🤣 👏🏼
Being a Fruit Fly isn't all it's cracked up to be, I wouldn't think.
@@KnightsArcade right! Haha
There's not enough ships, not enough content, far too many bugs, a ton of balance issues, and lack of optimization. Unless it's a year down the road, it's way too soon.
Lack of optimization is my biggest gripe. I can cope with the other issues, but a game that looks and plays like this could really use a performance boost. I'm on a gtx 1060 though, so I guess that's on me too.
The only really big issue i have is when something blows up the secound the ship loads in for the first time, not too common but annoying nonetheless
@@ivarbergstedt6202 Yeah, the Gecko salvagers do that to me constantly. I avoid them anyway since its almost impossible to depressurize them without trashing half the interior, since none of the regulators work.
@@solarprophet5439 i find it fairly easy to decompress them, go inside, head to the nose of the ship (between the hull and interior) make sure to put all big free floating object in one of the rooms (I usually go with the room between the cockpit and the rest in front, its best to go with a smaller room tho, the airlock does work too) then just cut away the things holding the center nose of the ship in place so the hull gets loose (stay next to the hull, hug it or you’ll be slammed into the wall) the smaller compartments dont really cause too much damge when decompressed due to them being smaller.
Is this game fun to play or is it too repetitive to be fun?
Fun is entirely subjective. I can't tell you what YOU would find "fun". I don't even know you. I find it fun. I have every minute I've played over the past 2 years, but if you need everything to change dramatically every 2 minutes... it might not be for you.
God the story! i cant believe how annoying a particular character is, you cant block or mute her.
I think I know who you're talking about. I can't say I disagree.
The game had a lot of potential, but it kinda feels like they wasted resources on a badly implemented story. The new menu is absolutely horrible too.
