This is basically a “live” sound performance inspired by the 2020 lockdown. It features highlights from my life before the lockdown with hope that our world will embrace a new higher consciousness for a better humanity with more love, understanding, and hope for the future of humankind. What bass did you use on the first "Baby Come Back" video? It looked like a custom p-bass with the triple pickups, four knobs and a selector switch. Anyway, one of my favorite songs to play along with on my bass. Cheers!
Ronnie should not be the lead. The original song with the guy with higher voice is so much better

Really like the arrangement of Come Back in the slower pace. Vocals and arrangement need to work better together, but really nice idea. Grew up listening to this one. At our age, best not to leave our voices alone for too many notes. Just a thought to help lock in this one. A little heavy on the bridge.
Just keep singing background and play your bass. Don't sing it yourself.

When I see a promo for this guy it always says "from the band Player with the smash number one hit Baby Come Back." Probably the worst case of coattail riding I can remember. besides, it's a horrible version.
@dave deroux What DOES matter is that Ronn Moss is an original member of "Player", sang and played on the original recording and HAS written other songs and has an international fan base for his music. Many people don't even know He was a soap actor for 25 years.
Most importantly almost any song written by a band member or members is open for interpretation by the person playing the part-it happens all of the time and I'm betting that given Ronn's style on the bass that he had input prior to recording. You somewhat derisively mention the drummer-John Friesen-who was in the music industry for years before he joined Player. Seriously man, check your facts before you flame..Just a side note I never heard of dave deroux before seeing your comment and certainly haven't been able to find anything about him-other than his attempted self-promotion-as relates to the music industry.

@@davederoux3361 Sorry for the typo-fixed it. My fat fingers constantly create mistakes when typing, and playing guitar or piano. Playing is stretching it-more like playing around. My true instrument is my voice but sometimes I need accompaniment and my playing is "adequate"-barely.
I don't write music unless it is on an instrument-lyrics are a different story. Both my high school and college A Capella choir directors/teachers/professors let me in their choirs because after listening to the part once it was mine. Never learned to sight read 100% which is what I'm basing my presumption of song input on plus Moss started playing when he was 10. No argument that Beckett and Crowley were the main creative forces but Beckett and Moss also did an album together from top to bottom.There are a lot of people who can't read or write music but can play/sing with the best of them

Simone 👉 What you said is not true. When Ronn was in the original lineup of Player back in 1978. The band's label owner, Robert Stigwood of RSO records (The BEE GEES was on this label, too) Well, in that early stage of Players, popularity. Stigwood told Ronn "If this band ever tanks and goes down, with your looks , you could go into acting " but Ronn stuck with the band 3 more years, and yes, they dropped in popularity and couldn't get no more hits and "the other guy" Peter Beckett sang and wrote all the songs for the next two Player albums but the band still bombed. Ronn left Player in 1981 and moved to Italy 🇮🇹 and pursued acting. Bold and the Beautiful didn't air until February 1987. Peter Beckett, the singer on Baby, come back, reunited with Ronn in 1995. 22 years later , in 2017, Peter pushed Ronn of out the band and stole their joint trademark of the PLAYER name for himself because of Peter's ego and jealousy of Ronns fame as RidgeForrester. Ronn sued Peter and the judge sided with Ronn, and they settled everything by going their separate ways. I was a big fan of Peter's (for years) till he screwed Ronn over. Regardless of whether Ronn can sing or not, he was extremely loyal to his band. The favor was NOT returned.

By law, they both can perform legally as "Peter Beckett " Player and "Ronn Moss "> Player. Ronn has said since the split from dishonest Beckett." This was not what I wanted by any means, but I had no choice but to move on. " Also, Simone in the original lineup of Player there was also another lead singer in the band his name was J.C Crowley, he lead the song."This time, I'm in it for love." It was their 2nd hit, and it made the top 10 on Billboard in the spring of 1978. J..C was also easy on the eyes for you ladies as Moss back in the day. And I'm a straight guy, telling you this. Lol 😆
