Cheers man! I'm really starting to feel comfortable on track and in these battles, I can see where I'm making the right choices, and where I'm making the wrong ones, now I just need to keep working on my focus and eliminating those mistakes that cost me a kart length or two, I could have recovered much better in heat 3 if I'd have put the incident to the back of my mind and just driven, instead of driving angry. But it's all learning! Can't wait to race on track with you next season!
@@CrazySkindogKarting That’s the main thing, the more experience and exposure, the better you will do. It’s always easy to look back and say you can do better but as long as you can learn from it and apply these things in the future then you will fly mate! 🙌🏾 It’s a real key thing to eliminate mistakes and misfortune from your mind. If you can do it quickly then you’ll be able to get back on the pace and do even better 😇 Super excited to get stuck in next year and catching up with you a bit more too 🔥
Cheers man! You pushed me hard! Congrats on a great result! I'm glad the incident in heat 3 didn't take me out completely 😅 I was so surprised to be the only SRK2 driver to qualify straight to the B final! Yet be third in class! Tom & Aiden did an amazing job!
Cheers man! I feel like I've really taken some positive steps forwards the last few rounds, I overstep the line a couple of times in this one, but you've gotta go past it to find it sometimes :P I'm still so hyped that I managed my second podium! My aim at the start of the season was 1 podium & a top 10 finish in SRK2, it's insane to me that I now have 2 podiums and and fighting to finish in the top 3! Can't wait to race with you the last two rounds!
@@CrazySkindogKarting sometimes you gotta drive in the style other are around you I found or you’ll suffer being ‘the good guy’. Yeah man you are doing amazing considering your expectations going in. I’m surprised I got a podium the first round I entered now I seem to be going backwards 😂. But all this will do for me is give me the experience I need to come back next season ready for it !
@@matthewodeykarting3146 yeah, for sure! That's what I'm learning this year! You've got the pace man! You'll be right up there in the mix these last two rounds, and definitely fighting at the front next season! I can't wait!
@@TheJelf10 haha, you know it! (It's 80kg for SRK) I've been weighing in at between 79.8kg and 80.5kg at recent rounds, so have been drinking bottles of water throughout the event to stay above the minimum! 🤣🤣
@@TheJelf10 haha, I need to consider bulking up to 90kg for BRKC in January, but working out the the gym seems to be reducing my weight slightly, instead of building it! I think I need to eat even more 😅
Don't you ever feel uncomfortable holding the wheel so low? I have the same seat configuration as you most the time but hold it much higher. But I feel so comfortable doing it.
It's just how I've always held it 😅 feels comfortable, also when I first started and my arms were weak having my little fingers touching the "bars" inside the steering wheel helped me turn by just leaning on them, now I turn by pushing upwards with my outside hand and I've been going to the gym it's not a problem but in still comfortable with my hands there.
Amazing stuff Sam, can see your confidence growing with every single event it’s good to see! 🙌🏾
Great result too, look forward to the next one 🔥

Yeah, it definitely does!! I don't have someone to chase and I start thinking about what I'm gonna eat for tea 🤣🤣
