What I have learned from having crushes on boys (one boy I should say for years), is something that my parents helped me with. They said it's okay to have feelings but lift them up to God. Lay them down as a sacrifice and it is okay to still feel something, but TRUST that God knows best for you and in His timing, He will work things out either way. I also have always struggled with feeling alone or in need of a companion. But I felt that a boy would fill that hole, while in reality, GOD fills that hole. Take your time in singleness to read the Bible, know the Lord, and become content. I may not be there yet, but I am getting closer... I hope. XD
Needed that reminder. Looks so simple in writing but it's actually something I often forget to do. I turn to the things and people around me before I turn to God. And that's exactly why my life is so messed up! God > Everything.
I'm not sure if this is helpful or not to someone, but if I could go back in time and tell my younger self anything about having crushes, I'd tell her to know her worth. If a guy isn't actively starting conversations with you, asking you out on a date, or just showing a basic level of interest, drop him for your own good. You should not have to make a guy like you. If we stay true to ourselves, then we can't really control if someone is into us or not. Sometimes the answer is that he's just not that into you. And as much as that sucks to realize sometimes, it's going to be OK. A boy rejecting you does not define your self-worth or the amount of respect you deserve to give yourself. I cringe sometimes thinking about the things I've done to get a boy's attention - but I don't beat myself up for it because it was part of a learning process about myself, dating culture, and men. Continue to love and respect yourself and realize that having crushes and dating is part of a learning process, and if you really like someone who ends up not liking you back - imagine how much better your feelings will be with the right person.
I think that's excellent advance and I would just add as a guy is that usually a lot of guys are clueless and have no idea when a lady has any interest in them. I.e. when I met my wife I thought she wasn't in my class so I didn't ask her out, until she asked me out! So ya many of us just don't have a clue, you may have to be aggressive and let a guy know your interested in dating.
Amen God is so good! Still praying for mine. Sometimes I think Jesus wants me all to Himself.. but I also know that as a Man on this earth, He knew the value of friendship and the ache of loneliness. He has a plan 🙏
Thank you for the testimony. I am currently without any young ladies at my church that are my age and it is a real struggle. I know God is BIG enough to fill that lonely gap. He is worthy to be big enough!!!!!!!!
“my value does not come from that” this is so true. I am a 13 year old girl and one thing 13 year olds like to do is really judge your looks and act like everywhere is a fashion show they must win. So I often let the world get to me and try to fit when as a christian i was not made to fit in but rather called to be different.
Yessss.... so true. I totally agree. I am also 13 and I get everything that you are saying. Often I fall into the same trap of trying to do what other people are doing, but God has called us to be *set apart* btw I have a few Christian videos on my channel💕
Yessss girls! I too am a 13 gear old girl! Oh how I've been obsessive over this boy, But GOD has set me free from this binding! HALLELUJAH! May we find our value in the fact that we are daughters of the KING, not in boys' approval! AMEN!

Becca, I just had to let you know that this message about displacing thoughts in your mind has helped me SO much in the past few weeks. Philippians 4:8 has been my rock lately in filling my mind and TIME with good, uplifting things instead of thinking of this person or things that would influence me to think of him. Still so hard, but your message on the topic has truly been so encouraging to me!
As a Christian guy, I wanted to thank you for this. Over the last week and a half I've been really dwelling on the only girl I've had a real crush on way back in grade school. I never told her how I felt, never asked her out, nothing. I was too scared to upset our friendship. Recently I learned she has now been dating a guy for a while, and it really brought back all that pain of "what I should have done". It really, really, helped me hearing you say yourself/girls think about fake conversations and situations. I find that's the main way I think about things and process stuff and have always wondered if that was crazy. So thank you for that, it was evidently something I needed to hear. I've not been in contact with that girl for years aside from being passively friended on Facebook for a few years. I then met her in person at work about a week ago, and I had thought the few days before that I got over it and that I was happy for her, but I couldn't get the bravery to tell her I was happy to hear she had someone. So a few of your video's I've just watched have really helped realign my thoughts, and given me things to pray about. Especially the self-worth in Christ despite being single. I've always believed that but now I can try to practice it.
This is so so timely. Ive been battling a lot with insecurities and i really like your response to that. There will always be someone better than u, so playing the comparison game is going to wear you down and cause depression. But beholding The Lord and His beauty we are transformed from glory to glory!(: just believing what He says about you is so much better (:
I like when you said pray for friends. I always prayed for Christian friends because I felt alone like I was the only Christian. I finally did get a great and amazing group of Christian friends. And they all had personality traits that worked all together. Keep prayer for Christian friends it might not be the exact time you expected, but when you do find them, it will be worth every moment of the wait. Have a blessed day🙏🏾✨.
Bro I have been struggling so bad with this for the past couple months and I really need some advice from another godly woman!!!💛💛 Edit: The first question was the one I really needed to hear!!! I really loved how you said that you should grieve. Grieving should be a part of the process. And then filling up the part of your mind you use to think about that boy and using it for other hobbies and activities- that really helped!! Praise God that He is using you to reach so many people!!!!💛💛💛
As most people were saying, perfect timing! My ex-girlfriend and I broke up some time ago, and it wouldn't be wise for us to get back together, as we both wished. Im in a moment in which I need to wait because I am moving out from Brazil, and it's been really hard to get over her, but I know it was God's will that guided us to the point we r right now. Pray for me so that, all the times those desires to comeback with her and of jealously come, that I would be able to turn my eyes to Jesus, who is more valuable than everything!
Going off of that cup metaphor, here’s where I thought she was gonna go with it! Let’s say the crush on a guy is the air, and I’m trying really hard to get that out of the cup. The easy way to do it is fill it up with water. So, if I fill my heart with God first, then I won’t be worried about the guy anymore. If I fill the cup with water, the air isn’t a problem anymore.
This literally came at the perfect time! Thank. You. I just found out that my longtime crush has a girlfriend so wow I’m just trying to figure out to deal with that so this really helps!
So amazing how the Holy Spirit works! This video answered questions in my head that have been burdening me for a long while now, without me even realising it!
Hi Becca, always look forward to your videos! Most of us go through relationships that don't end the way we want, but sometimes God has you go through such experiences to learn about yourself so you appreciate when God brings you the "right person" into your life.
I needed that answer about getting over crushes so much!! Thank you for the long answer! 😂 That's such a unique perspective and it's dead on with what I feel like God has been telling me to do! Thank you! 🙂
I liked how you answered about getting over a crush. It’s science-y but pretty head on. It is funny that you can be married, have kids, have this life being made but still somehow recall the feelings you once had with that once-special person. Thanks for clearing it up for me in terms where I can fully understand. ☺️
@@StaceyGraceFaithChannel hi I saw you other comment and you said your 13?! That’s crazy, your videos are so mature-like! I turned 14 in august and I’ve also been thinking about starting a Christian channel but all of my lgbtq+ friends are subscribed to my channel and I’m kind of scared to do that because I haven’t “came out” to them about my being saved and change in mind about the world and sin. Do you have any tips about starting a Christian channel? I’m just completely lost as to know where to start 😂😭 anyway God bless you!
@@sarahcloud444 hi!! Thanks so much, your literally so nice. I turn 14 in March😊. And I feel you a bought the lgbtq friends. Maybe try and tell them subtly that you're a Christian like I did. I just started talking about church and stuff, like I didn't actually preach to them. And advice for starting a Christian yt channel would just be to pray before you post a video. Makes sure that all the content you put out there is something that you've felt God leading you to. Also, you should watch those videos on UA-cam for support like Annie dube (Annie's guide to yt) or cathrin manning. Hope that helps🥰
I love how you leave Bible references in the description. It's so easy to paraphrase verses or just answer questions off the top of our head and that's okay, but we always need to make sure what people are saying lines up with the Bible. Having those references there gives me confidence that you know what you are talking about and encourages me to get into the Bible and look for the answers myself. Thank you so much
I live far from my Christian friends. I have a few but they live like 4 hour drive away so naturally our relationships weaken over time and even though we still text and chat over the phone it's very difficult. And then in my local church (1 hour drive) there are only mid age to elderly people and though I like the community there I still feel very lonely most of the time. I've been praying for friends, and a spiritual father or mother for quite some time now and I don't see any answer on the horizon. I know I cannot go on like this, with only work and studies and no social life whatsoever. I enjoy my family but I don't find it sufficient plus my fam is just small. I just long for sb I could share my inner thoughts and longings with, you know, a true friend.
I was in the same situation for years , and I understand your pain. Most of all, God sees you. He is a God of nearness, Emmanuel, and He knows how you long to be known and have communion. I'll pray for you and I'm sure the Lord will provide in His perfect time so much more than what we're asking Him, cause He is So Good and He loves you! ♡
For those people looking to bring passion back into your relationship with God, my recommendation is to find someplace where He is moving in a powerful way and then put yourself in that environment. Maybe it's a church that is a bit too "wild" for your comfort level, normally, where things are happening that you've never seen happen in church before: maybe people are getting healed, or falling over when they're prayed for, or people are speaking in tongues or prophesying over each other. Maybe it's a place where the air just feels different when they worship. Maybe people are getting delivered from demons. Go somewhere that's going to stretch or even shatter whatever box you may have tried to put God in. There's nothing like being in actual awe of God to stoke your passion for Him. Getting filled with or baptized in the Holy Spirit is a really effective way to turn your love for God up many notches. If you go to a church where they don't talk about and practice the baptism of the Holy Spirit, or maybe they tell you that it happens automatically when you're born again, then find a place where they actually pray for people to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and get prayer to receive the baptism. You will know when it happens, trust me. If you don't know, keep getting prayer and seeking God, because you will know when it happens. That will change your life, and it will allow you to begin to minister in the way that Jesus commanded His disciples to minister: healing the sick, casting out demons and whatnot. There's nothing like seeing Jesus move in power in someone's life (especially through your own hands) to increase your passion and excitement for God. Those are a few things. Let me know if you have any questions about anything I mentioned.
That's very helpful. There was a time when I felt like my relationship with God was over, But i kept moving forward and kinda pretending that I was on fire with him and I'm feeling alot more encouraged and like I am on fire.
@@TJsGarage14 - I think sometimes it takes a while for our feelings to catch up with our actions, but that's where our faith comes into play. I'm glad to hear that things are coming around for you! God is so worth pursuing. There's no one like Him, and the relationship we can have with Him is like nothing else on this planet.
The vulnerability you showed during your talk about insecurity was so strong + real, and most of all, so needed. I've struggled with comparison on & off for almost my whole life since social media came about when I was so young. Since I am now so far in my walk with the Lord, it has gotten better, but the enemy still attacks at times. Comparison is a big problem in this social media driven society, so thank you for talking about it!! :) I hope to address it in one of my videos soon, and it's awesome to see that this is a conversation being had by so many people closer to our ages!
I totally relate to you in comparing to an older sister! Like yo, I also always compared to my older sister until I found God!❤️And also very boyish while she is super feminine but we are both special and thank you for sharing ☺️God bless!
It is very true about making conversations in your head, and then you feel like your actually somewhere with that person that your not. Thanks so much Becca!!!! ( I bought a shirt! can't wait till it comes in!!!)
awesome content and am in the middle of a 21 day fast with my youth group that we are focused in spending more time with God and filling ourselves with the spiritual things and glad that you are part of this journey thank you!
I just stumbled across this channel and it's great that God has inspired this girl(dont know her name sorry) to make these videos! Just one thing on her last question about having a passion for God and so reigniting it, she missed out the one thing you should do first - and that is to pray and ask God for a passion for God, and to pray for this continuously and to just be in constant prayer - for God says "Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened" Matthew 7:7&8
Becca you are so adorable!! Love the science lesson and analogy! Such a beautiful spirit you are! Praying you reach over your $3000 goal in the next month!! ❤️ Blessings sister!!
I just want to tell you that I have watched like 2 hours of your videos in one sitting! (I just found your channel today!) and I LOVE everything about you. You're BEAUTIFUL on the outside AND on the inside. You're SO WISE IN THE LORD! You give WONDERFUL advice. Jesus SHINES through you. Girl... you have CONFIDENCE. that's what I'm praying about for myself. I want all my confidence to come from Jesus Christ and NOTHING/NO ONE ELSE! And your videos have not only encouraged me, but really given me a different perspective on so many things. And they've given me hope, too :) KEEP AT IT.
This video was so helpful! I really related to the first part about getting over someone! I love your videos and they really helped me get through a lot so thank you so much and hopefully you can make more!!!
Hi Becca, I'm Ingrid from Brazil, and I'm so thankful to hear this words right now. God keep blessing you with this wisdom. I Love you and pray for you! 💕
I think outside of a church, online dating is thee best place to find Christians to date. You can vet their seriousness about faith, you can filter by Christians only, you won’t waste time asking out people at the store asking a cute girl out and out time in to see if she is Christian.
It's so funny how we get hung up on what UA-camrs say in their intros and outros lol. At the end of the video when you put a slight pause between "know that you are so loved" and "and so beautiful", I legit almost had a panic attack because I thought you weren't going to finish it! lol No! Is this what getting older is??? Not being able to deal with change.
Thanks for this video, I feel like I needed this advice. It's been four years since I'm dwelling my crush and the crack doesn't seem to heal. Sometimes I feel like I get over him but then all these feelings come back with the time. And I've realized that I never left, I keep checking in him the whole freaking time (maybe that's the reason why it's so impossible to get thru this) Thanks the Lord that save this video for me cause today was the last time I cried for these situations and I'm really tired of it. God bless you and keep using you sis💜
Pray for me, I'm coming back again to the old me. I can't get over the person I used to love. He's not a Christian. I can't focus on my relationship with God because of him.
Any suggestions for believing what God says about you? Like for sooo long I struggled with doubting my salvation and my belief in God so now I struggle so much to believe that I am chosen, redeemed, loved etc.
God Bless you Becca. Can you please comment on : SAVED. ALWAYS SAVED. Is this affirmation true? Please explain,a Bible Study would be great. Thank you so much.💓
What's the difference between a crush versus lust? Did Jesus tell us if we look upon a woman or a woman looks upon a man they already done committed adultery after they lust? I'm just trying to figure out the difference here. Because a crush will get you in trouble when your mind goes to wandering.
@whitney24100. You don't watch those shows or listen to worldly music if you want to stay saved. Those things will weaken your faith. I hope you have found Christian friends to help you in your walk with the Lord, who can give good godly advice to you.

That crush answer hit the spot. Thanks girl! Your videos always come at a perfect time 🥰
Also, where are your headbands from??? They always so cute
Thank you!! :) Etsy usually!!
You are honestly such a beautiful, wholehearted woman of God. A breath of fresh air, loved this video, brought me so much joy! God bless you sis X
Yay! I love it when you post 🥰God bless you!
These were some terrific questions and answers!
God bless you Becca.

Hi Becca! Always look forward to your videos!
This is so special to me. I am from India. God bless you becca.
Glad to hear that you've been doing okay. My prayers are with you through this virus.
Thank you Becca. You are such a Blessing.
I decern the truth you tell. Keep up the good work.
Thank you and God bless you!
I love your John Mark Pantana ending!!!!

And they've given me hope, too :)
KEEP AT IT.

🔊📣📣📣 Y'LL SHOULD GO READ THE COMMENTS ASAP.... THEY RE REALLY INFORMATIVE 😅😅😙
Hi Becca, I'm Ingrid from Brazil, and I'm so thankful to hear this words right now. God keep blessing you with this wisdom. I Love you and pray for you! 💕
You have such warm and understanding eyes
I think outside of a church, online dating is thee best place to find Christians to date. You can vet their seriousness about faith, you can filter by Christians only, you won’t waste time asking out people at the store asking a cute girl out and out time in to see if she is Christian.
Be blessed Becka, you have really helped me , mostly in the last question
This was literally for me. thankyou a MILLION for making this video 💕
Love and prayers from an Indian Christian💜💜
Please make a podcast! Would for sure listen.
Thank you for this video! You’re so beautiful and your hair is so pretty!
Omg lol
Omgosh literally everything in this video Is something I needed to hear!❤️💕:)
That's so awesome! PTL!
I love that purple blouse you're wearing!
Your the mom i never knew I needed honesty 😅
I like your earrings Becca! 👌 In fact, you have excellent taste in dress. 🙂
Amazing video💛 Im going to try the app while I crochet and knit, thank you for showing me these apps also I tried the shine one and it was awesome!💛💛💛
I’m soooo excited for this video!!
Service first feelings second.... AMEN THANK YOUUUU
Yess talk about shark tank stuff😂😂😍

My husband and I met on match! God set it up for sure lol you just have to be very careful
thank you sister 💓
Pray for me, I'm coming back again to the old me. I can't get over the person I used to love. He's not a Christian. I can't focus on my relationship with God because of him.
I'll be praying🙏
So encouraging!❤️
Your first 3 recommended channels are awesome - I've subscribed to all 3! 👍
As if this video couldn't get any better she plays one of my favourite songs ever at the end
This is so good! (:
Any suggestions for believing what God says about you? Like for sooo long I struggled with doubting my salvation and my belief in God so now I struggle so much to believe that I am chosen, redeemed, loved etc.
Such great advise ! 💖
The cause courage sweatshirt is so comfy
I'm so glad!!! :-)
I have a question. How do you go about choosing tv shows on tv to watch or music to listen to with all the profanity out there? Thank you!
@whitney24100. You don't watch those shows or listen to worldly music if you want to stay saved. Those things will weaken your faith. I hope you have found Christian friends to help you in your walk with the Lord, who can give good godly advice to you.
2:45 video starts
Thank you so much for this
OMG I HAVE THAT SAME PINK SHIRT FROM TJ MAXX SO CUTE
Trying to pursuade my mum to let me buy a jumper 💕💕
