There are actually 3 types of TKTs: 1) 3 core modules 2) TKT CLIL 3) TKT YL As you mentioned, the TKT CLIL and YL test the teacher's knowledge in relation to teaching Kids and Teens. However, the 3 core modules test your overall knowledge in relation to Knowledge about the language, methodology, and lesson planning. So, if you would like a certification to show that you know how to teach adults, there are two options: 1) The CELTA Course. 2) The TKT Modules 1, 2, and 3. The TKT helps knowing teaching terminology. And it helps you to identify grammar points and other teaching aspect. I think it helps in whatever subject you are going to teach, but it's not mandatory if you are not teaching English.
I took TKT module one some years ago. Band 4. I found it very easy I never found a job opportunities with TKT, and I'm Willing to travel, so I didn't take module 2-3. Tkt is good for personal development, but I won't suggest it to anybody who want to be a teacher

It is very similar to the others. I'd suggest you to go for the 3 modules first. They are very useful and interesting to study. And after you can take the YL. I have a colleague who actually only took the YL studying the tkt 3 core modules book. And she went well.
I believe that the TKT course is something you do for yourself. You take the course to develop yourself as a teacher. It will eventually be useful for you to show off to students or to institutions if it ever comes.
I have passed my CELTA course and next month I will take the TKT test 🤣🤣🤣. The English center I'm working at now just offered me to take it next month.

The TKT, as I mentioned, is a test. It tests our knowledge. If you know some grammar, some nomenclature... It doesn't teach you HOW to teach. For this, I'd go for the CELTA COURSE.
Due to C0VID-19 currently results are released later than Cambridge standard results issue dates, which also impacts on when certificates are printed and despatched. This means that they are taking about 2-3 weeks to deliver results. If you are outside of Europe, your certificate may take 3 months to get to you.
