Was going to avoid the train as I was sure I'd get lost. However I simply followed this video and got to my hotel 300m from nana bts. Thanks for the video
My first time in BKK in 2017 I took a taxi, this video will make it a breeze to use metro and BTS to get to BTS Thong Lo station for my 2nd visit in April 2020, thanks for the very informative video for any foreign visitor like myself.
❤️My favorite country of all time... Go there every year. Nice place, nice people. Beautiful cultures and best foods..... Bestfoods asia country for me.. 🇹🇭❤️💙
Absolutely brilliant. Just like being there in person. Enjoyed the journey. Have travelled to Bangkok years ago and have had various experiences with taxis. Won't ever have to worry about that again. I'll be there in a couple of weeks and will be thankful for your valuable presentation.
Brilliant! Just noticed it was 4 years ago! As someone with poor sight and a nervous solo traveller - it gives me a little more confidence. So appreciate it. Hope you're still travelling. Have subscribed too!
I thought initially it would be kinda long fo ra direction video, but if you take the time to watch it its actually gonna save you loads of time getting lost and confused. Great video..
Thank you! Your video is very educational, much better than other videos on the same theme. It will be an excellent guide when I need to travel from Suvarnabhumi to Nana station next month. 👍
Thank you very much for your great efforts, I do not know where I can meet my friends in the airport so huge and the first time for me, we need to go from the airport to Sukhumvit
Sawasdi krup... This viseo is perfect and exactly what I needed ,Thank You. I am arriving on 23rd and was trying to do research through google, but some questions seemed to get lost. Your video answered all my questions. Thanks
quite handy to know, I will be staying near Nana BTS, I haven't decided to do this or just get a taxi from the airport, there's a lot of stairs involved when having a large suitcase
Thank you. First time I did this, I had to go all the way down to the street cross the busy road and up again. Bangkok transport is a bit crazy sometimes ;)
hello, one day I will still go to thailand, try the wonderful local cuisine and get to know its beautiful tourist attractions. Subscribed to your channel
it's all part of traveling, discovering how to get there, taking your time, might seem overwhelming but that's what I love the most about traveling. When I feel like I cant find my way, I sit down somewhere, have a coffee, regroup. It doesn't take long to find your way. That being said, I always get a thai sim card for my phone from the airport when I land. It allows me to use google map etc...Happy Travels !
My first time in bangkok I did this journey from the airport too my hotel near nana station at night with no internet connection just a vague memory from my Google map the night b4 in Australia..don t know how I found it but I did ..all part of the adventure
Thanks I will download this video and send to my group chat with the people I’m going with, tho we staying in different places, our main even at is at 2 mins from nana so I’m sure everyone choose somewhere near like asok
Thanks for the video. I will try to follow it for my first trip to Bangkok. I think it will be more helpful to have an idea where we are if you start with a physical map to show where the stations are and what directions the trains are going. As a first time traveler, I will be relying on maps so knowing where I am heading will be a plus.
I travel with just a carry on (Thailand has plenty of little laundry shops so I see no need to pack a lot of things, no matter if I stay there for two weeks or two months). I am rarely in a hurry and I booked my flight home for 1700 or 5 PM. Plenty of time to get on the BTS near my hotel and then transfer to the Rail Link. Yes it takes longer than a taxi ride, but the price is so affordable I like it. And same thing when I arrive. I always arrive at BKK at about 1130 AM in the morning. No need to rush to get to my hotel in Bangkok. Take the Rail link, transfer to the BTS and head towards Nana, or Asoke or wherever. Of course the BTS not always go near to your hotel so you may just as well want to take a taxi from the airport and go door to door. Plan as you want
Ein sehr hübsche Video...👏...wünsche Dir einen schönen Abend und für später eine gute Nacht..und ich wünsche ein schönes Wochenende....Liebe Grüße 💃:))
You mean the Electronic stairs . If that's what you mean you go up back to the trains and the lift that goes down goes to the exit and after that to the main road.
Hi there! Thank you for your informative clip. Can you tell me how long it takes to walk from the airport terminal (arrivals) to the Airport Train station at BKK airport? Is it about a 5-10minute walk?
If anyone is heading to BTS Nana either for a "stroll" or hotel, the main road nearest to the action is very dangerous therefore if you have suitcases take a taxi.
Hello, I noticed that you did not use a token on your way to Nana, but a " pass"? If this is correct how do you obtain the "pass" instead of using a "token" for the train system there? Many thanks 😇
Yes once you get out at payathai station you put the token after that you buy a bts pass card and use it to enter and get out the the station at nana. Greetings from Thailand
In every station you will here an announcement before the doors are open and that will be which station you area also you will see them on the Electronic boards above you.
She bought a one time pass so the card inserted at the end of the journey while I have card that I carry and refill every time its empty . If are staying in Bangkok you buy that card and keep it with you and refill once its empty and if you are staying for short time you can buy pass each time you have to use the bts.
@@LiveLoveThailand oh I see, same mechanics here in the Philippines. Thanks for letting me know, I might do the same route later this year when I go Bangkok

60 baht for the token. That is less than $2 USD. great price and pretty nice view looking out the train window.
Electric stairs are always very helpful. ขอบคุณครับ

In the written comments-
At base floor-
It should read STRAIGHT and not STARIGHT.

No take a meter taxi no worries

Hi there! Thank you for your informative clip. Can you tell me how long it takes to walk from the airport terminal (arrivals) to the Airport Train station at BKK airport? Is it about a 5-10minute walk?
Maximum 5 min depending on the crowds . Greetings from Thailand

How come the girl at the BTS station inserted her card and you just had to swipe yours? What's the difference?
She bought a one time pass so the card inserted at the end of the journey while I have card that I carry and refill every time its empty .
