Those were the days. This one is with The secret of Monkey Island and Lemmings my top 3 above all thousands and thousands of games that I played after. The feeling what that music gave me and the realisation that it was the end of the story was so beautifull and sad at the same time. And then.... like 20 years later in the internet age I discovered this was not the end. All that time there was a sequel. That was 10+ years ago or so. I continued the story and finally got to know what happened next. It was so beautifull. Like it was meant to be like this. It would not have been the same if I knew it then and played it then. But the feeling of this music and the sadness I only experienced once more later at the end of the movie Excalibur or maybe it was the other way around. Things have to end sometimes in a specific way to give meaning and purpose to us to plant seeds for what is to come. I so wish this generation would appreciate this. And maybe they do. Maybe its just what every older person experiences remeniscing over good old times. But something tells me this was special. Epic. Legendary! I wish all young people this feeling when they look back. Thank you Jean-francois and Eric Chahi.
I think I shed a tear when I finallly beat this game. Everything done by Eric Chahi. I tought this guy was a mythical figure with brain the size of 10 average humans. What a legendary creator.
Wow, this brings back so many memories, I remember calling my dad's coworkers daughter to get past a few points, especially letting the grenades flow down the stairs... but this ending theme song was the greatest, i will forever have it in my head when thinking about this game.
Utterly fantastic. It's hard to believe a game like this could play as good as it does. Throws surprises at you until the very end.Absolute Amiga classic. Unfortunately very linear... It is a pity that sequel did not make it to Amiga market...
The official sequel is not Flashback, it is amitopia.com/another-world-sequel-is-finally-ported-to-amiga/ Heart Of The Alien Redux and it was ported back to Amiga a few months back.
I was so blown away by this track when I beat this game at 15 years old that I connected my computer to a Walkman and made myself a tape. I recently bought the SNES version and was bummed to find they changed this music.
Robiłem tak samo. Po prostu zajebisty kawałek. Stawiam go na równi z motywem z Hero Quest i muzyką z ostatniego poziomu w Wolfchild. Dziś już nie ma takich geniuszy.
Simply a legend! One of the best game endin ever created on the Amiga! Superb and stunning! ❤ The intro song Hot n Cold played on the movie "The Ugly Truth" is very very similar!😊
Completed this when I got it for my Amiga. And yes I agree. One of the best endings in a game also completed flashback and a slew of point-and-click games. One of my favorite started off very slow but kicked in really good. Was a game called Future wars.

I can already imagine Cinemasins's voice going: " the ending melody totally not stolen from 'Berlin- Take my breath away' " *DING* xD Great game though, good memories! :3
best ending ever. A tear goes down...
ive got this on psn its a great game but its a shame it was too short

I remember seeing this , after quite some time of playing the game , and burst into tears at the music and video sequence
This game for me was like trip to another world
That was the time when games have values.
Been working in gamedev since 1998 and still have not managed to match this game. Will continue until I too get carried away by my friend.
My favorite game of all time.
The BEST outro song from the BEST game!!!!
i played it on Amiga many many times

It was ambiguous, if you think you died, you did. I think we got saved

Man, when I saw this ending, i was like "OMG This is the final boss!" And then it all happened :D
I wasn't alive during the times of this game, but i remember my dad letting me play it. im glad im nostalgic for this game now
Why is this ending written and composed by 2 people better than 99% of endings in triple AAA titles?
+pokemin49 Cause it's simple and harmonic. And doing always "something new" leads to disharmony and lack of understanding music.
Because it's Saint Etienne - He's On The Phone.
....Which came out 3 years after this...
My dad is the composer. Im really proud
Tu es le fils de Jean-Francois Freitas ? :)
Can someone loop this ending theme song 1 hour pls? So catchy :D
Grając na Amisi dochodziłem do tego momentu, wciskałem p(pauza)i rozkoszowaółem się tą Boską muzą wraz z kumplem.

This was a great game! Very fun to play.
La musica più’ bella!
Probabilmente una delle più belle composizioni che abbia mai sentito.
THANKS for this! The original is the best!
The feels...
Epic!
UA-cam video creation by .... Eric Chahi. Thanks to ... Eric Chahi. Great game ^_^
Love.

Yes 720p is overkill graphics wise, but does marginally improve audio (a bit more bitrate). And what's this about PC speaker?
